I don’t have £2 million in assets, and I don’t earn £200k a year. I’m quite short on both counts. So the HMRC wealth audit doesn’t impact me. Yet.
But it signals a clear intention. A lack of respect for the individual. What is yours is only yours until the government decides they want it to fund further welfare expansion.
Property rights only exist in this country as long as your holdings are meagre enough to escape the fiscal Eye of Sauron. They will come for it all.
Sunderland fans would be demanding the death penalty if that were the other way round the way they’ve been whining about Bogle’s yellow. #lufc

Atwell is some specimen, how he manages to keep his job every week is mindblowing #LUFC
That’s two weeks in a row we’ve played against makeshift, Championship level defences, one a team in freefall and the other bottom of the league, and Farke has refused to go for the jugular at any stage in either. Too scared to lose to try to win. #lufc
Toothless. Farke's preference not to lose rather than try to win keeps seeing us drop points against poor teams. #lufc
Bogle needs to come off now. He’s defending with that yellow in his head now. #lufc
We are the only team in this league that gives the ref an easy ride. No-one near him for that penalty shout. Put him under pressure, just like everyone else does. #lufc
That Rigg needs hoofing. Left one on a couple of Leeds players now. Ref still doing whatever the home crowd tell him to do. #lufc
There’s a goal coming but I’m buggered if I can tell you for who…

How do we manage to get done by the refs every week? Law of averages says we should get one go our way every once in a while. #lufc
The 9 men of Leeds being held by the 12 men of Sunderland at half time. #lufc
Wilson and Aaronson not exactly making a case to start every week, are they? #lufc
Linesman looking straight at the foul on DCL by O’Nien and gives nothing. #lufc
