I now feel the urge to make existing things even better because I want that trial to turn into a paying customer 👀😂 Tomorrow I’m back to marketing, I swear!
Is this how it starts with the magic internet money? I just noticed the first-ever trial someone started in my SaaS! Marketing so far was purely done via SEO/AEO/GEO 😬

I strongly disagree when it comes to “normies”. 99,9% of people won’t replace their subscriptions even if they run a company, BUT for us vibecoders, a huge opportunity is coming, as we can not only get paid to build apps for other people but also build apps that replace existing subscriptions of companies because UI/UX is just much better compared to existing apps. We're gonna see so many vibe coded companies with billion dollar valuations.
As I posted before, I've cancelled almost all of the SaaS subscriptions for my business The only thing I still pay for as a business: - AI inference - Hetzner server hosting - Cloudflare storage - Backblaze backups - Taxes Now I started cancelling personal subscriptions too and just vibecoding my own versions or using Claude to take an open source project that does the same and then customize it for myself All I still pay for personally is: - Claude Code - YouTube (content) - Spotify (content) - Starlink (internet) - Phone eSIM - Personal cloud storage - Electricity and water (utility) - Taxes So if we summarize it for both, I only still pay for: - AI inference - Content - Cloud storage & hosting - Connectivity - Electricity & water - Taxes So to summarize all my money now goes to: - Content - Data centers - Power plants + water - Governments I think we'll be facing a tidal wave of cancellations once people find out how much money they can save It's just how the economy works

Same here, and I also build my own tool for this. AI for extraction, renaming of files (so my bookkeeper has less work and charges me less), exporting structure I want, and a Checklist to not miss anything!

My 404 page looks stunning with this real, copyright-free artwork I found from the NGA. Funny enough, the artist's first name: Claude 🙃

Accounting tools are a nightmare, and I hated using them. Sorting invoices by hand was a nightmare too, so I built an automated sorting, renaming, and exporting tool that I've been using myself. Currently doing the July books, which are due next week!

Shoutout to @SebastianRoehl. His tweet about his bookkeeping tool pushed me to get my prototype to a much better stage!

When I started working on my first SaaS I had the idea for 3 individual ones on my list: - Invoicing tool - To Do/Organization tool - Bookkeeping tool I started with the invoicing tool which is live now. Guess it’s time to get the prototype of the Bookkeeping tool live! The demand seems to be there 👀

Shipped my first SaaS. I’d still say it’s in the soft launch phase 👀😬 Next: MARKETING!
crew member @knackfish just shipped Billy 🚢 AI-powered invoicing tool for freelancers & entrepreneurs. shipped 2 days away from certain death feedback from the crew — the captains reviewed it: "super clean! the live invoice preview plus the compliance strip does a lot of trust work fast, I’d just surface the starting price higher on the page so people do not have to hunt for it."

GM Time to keep on building out my first SaaS while still doing client work! For this week I’m focusing on getting the current state of the product to a soft launch. Fuel: lots of cappuccino

Pick a niche, focus on B2B, solve real problems, and you’re all good. We are talking about less than 1% of businesses that even CONSIDER building their own apps to replace subscriptions. Every single thing you built in-house has to be maintained in-house, which doesn’t make it lucrative at all.
I cancelled and then vibecoded 100% of my SaaS subscriptions I only pay for domains, server hosting and storage and AI APIs So the irony of being replaced myself after I replaced everything I pay for is not lost on me I am happy I invested most of the money I made in the last 10+ years though so I have no worries financially But obviously preferrably I keep make more money with my projects but for that we will have to adapt or make entirely new type of projects Times of change are fun for me though, if there's no challenges life gets boring fast!
