Know what’s bananas? We waited nearly SIX MONTHS for <5 vax approval beyond initially expected and not a single policymaker at any level seems to have bothered to plan for a successful vax rollout. Age limits for pharmacy vax, uneven uptake of vac access at pedi offices…

They approved Novavax yesterday There are 4 vaccines for adults and none for any kid under five. The answer.....to increase vaccine uptake...but this still leaves the under fives with nothing.

Seems like states need help planning to get shots to kids under 5. Putting it all in the hands of peds is not the solution. Some aren’t even ordering it. We need EQUITABLE access just like everyone else. @HHSGov @SecBecerra @XavierBecerra @scdhec @henrymcmaster @ImmunizeUnder5s
