I made a claim that an AI on a yam phone is smarter than a university lecturer.
Not to be disrespectful.
But to showcase the unique potential of this technology.
Every student in Ghana deserves access
to the most intelligent tutor in the world.
Not just the ones who can afford it.
That's why @scopegai built Funza AI.
AI that can reach rural communities.
AI that creates equity for society.

I really hope this Eyes of Ghana is going to be a real perspective not some weird PSYOP that just twists narratives .
That trailer is absolute goosebumps I really hope it does Nkrumah’s legacy’s justice. I don’t mind delving into his failures because he obviously did fail in some regards but I hope it’s a fair narration and focuses on his dream for Africa.
Showing the Ghana–Guinea–Mali Union showing that he clearly had started and was winning but choice to even abandoned that for the greater goal of the emancipation of all Africans.
I hope we get to see revolutionary figures like Kwame Ture formerly known as Stokely Standiford Churchill Carmichael( who left America to join Nkrumah to show the real solidarity between the African on the continent and the diaspora.
I hope they show how Guinea ( a country he would become co president over his over throw) and a few other African countries were ready and willing to invade Ghana to reinstate him and he preached restraint. Ask yourself how may leaders in contemporary times would have become co leader of a “foreign country”
I hope they show the role in which he played in the 60s to advocate and partner with civil rights legends such as Martin Luther king and Malcolm x
I hope they show how he mentored not just one but numerous men who would later be leading figures who would rid their respective countries of the chains of imperialism.
Show how the likes of Lee Kuan Yew would visit Ghana and use it as a text book to develop Singapore while the play book he took was destroyed by locally backed foreign actors.
I hope they show the multi faceted legend that is Nkrumah.
What this man achieved is beyond the understanding of people who haven’t lived the African experience. If you ask me to know Nkrumah is to know pain because how can a man be so great, so mighty, so influential, so pivotal to the history of not just Africa but I dare say the world but a group of men sat an ocean away down and plotted and successfully destroyed him. To know Nkrumah is to know that the African could have been mentally and physically free yet she is not
Knowing Nkrumah is to know the best of us, the you, the best this continent has produced.
Knowing Nkrumah is knowing that Africa from the south of South Africa to the East of Kenya right back to the West of Ghana would be free with its citizens afforded a life of dignity and prosperity.
I pray this movie shows the real man.
I hope this movie will be a love letter to Nkrumah to a man who was larger than life but I know better but I will dream. Maybe one day
Need wifey to be on this timing.
JUST IN: Chinese bride surprises her groom with a $12,000 Nvidia RTX 5090 GPU at their wedding, bringing him to tears.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The video and photos are from a 2025 Chinese wedding (not a recent "JUST IN" event). The ASUS ROG Astral RTX 5090 was reported as ~$3000 at the time per launch pricing and contemporary coverage, not $12000.

We’re grateful to the Honourable Minister of Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations @samgeorgegh for recognising what we’re building at @scopegai .
We’re developing AI solutions designed for African realities, including Funza AI, an AI-powered platform accessible through SMS, with no internet or app required. It even works on basic feature phones (yam phones).
There’s much more to what we’re building, including unique features with potential national impact.
We’d love the opportunity to meet with you, demonstrate what we’ve built, and share these innovations with you.
We hope to hear from you, Hon. Minister! @samgeorgegh 🇬🇭
Hmm someone responsible for the destabilization of the Sahel. I fw speed big time but chale. If the movie stays factual hurrah but we should know better atp.

The young man who was accused of phone theft and assaulted by some phone dealers at Circle Tiptoe Lane, where he was forced to dance, has explained how the incident happened. According to him, he was helping someone purchase an iPhone 14 Pro Max when the individual fled with the phone.
He says he searched for the person but returned to the shop after his efforts proved futile, only for the dealers, who knew him from his regular business dealings with them, to accuse him of stealing the device. He further explains that he offered to pay for the phone and report the incident to the police, but the dealers refused to listen, assaulted him and forced him to dance.

Rooms like this don't happen often and as ambassador for this year’s Pan African AI summit which brought together
Innovators, Entrepreneurs, Ministers of state, Policy makers, Tech leaders, All in one place. All talking about one thing.
Africa's AI future.
The conversation was simple how do we make sure AI works for every African.
For me it's not just the connected ones. That's exactly why @scopegai built Funza AI.
An AI that runs offline via sms and can even work on basic feature phone. No smartphone. No need for internet. Which opens Ai access to over 700 million Africans and over 9 million Ghanaians who are currently offline.
The continent is ready. We are ready.

Footage of Black American teens in Ghana in 1968, shocked to find red wigs, miniskirts and American soul music instead of natural hair and traditional African dress. They called the wigs “disgusting” and felt Ghanaian women were ashamed of their Blackness and natural hair!
Can Al work on a $10 feature phone(locally known as yam phone) without internet?

I find it so wild that a digital marketing agency will have social media accounts with a few thousand followers. Just feels like if your services work do it for yourself first before you start quoting some ridiculous figures.
The most annoying thing about this stage is the lack of support from people who could make a call and everything go pick but chale the plot thickens
