What began as a marvelous adventure on @cunardline’s Queen Elizabeth cruise to Alaska turned into a financial nightmare in fewer than 12 hours.
Effectively, we were downgraded by being upgraded and lost all the benefits we originally paid for.

Which seems true. For $160 in upgrade charges, we got a slightly larger stateroom and a few small perks.
We LOST $2500 in onboard benefits.
