Paul Skenes will receive late-stage Chris Bassitt money in ARB 2. If the Pirates do not have an interest in paying that salary because of budgetary reasons, they are not some salary reform away from being competitive.

The Pirates trading Skenes away instead of giving him whatever he wants (yes, even after a down year) would be 100x worse for baseball than anything the Dodgers have ever done or will do.
Paul Skenes salary will be out of the Pirates comfort zone after next season and he will likely be playing somewhere else in 2028, per @JPerrotto

Hellebuyck Saga:
- Hellebuyck requests trade in like April
- Teams aware he won’t be at camp in threats. Team Hope he’s bluffing
- Team holds onto him
- He doesn’t report to camp, but notifies team he’s coming back Game 1
- Team suspends him until October 23th for not reporting
- Hellebucks.com and media frenzy begin
- Team makes it very clear publicly no one wants him back
- Team now has 6 days before decisions have to be made because no trade has materialized

I wonder why this is normal for Gary Sheffield Jr.
These prices are the most normal thing I’ve seen, ever. What’d you think a family of 4 was going to a World Series game for $500 a piece?
Everyone would go lol
I believe the NHL cares about favorites again. Like this isn't right man. Why are the Sens first place in the Atlantic Division over the Leafs? Why man? The Sens don't deserve to be first place in the Atlantic Division. I bet the NHL is going back to having favorites again
