A happy surprise for one who loves radio. Talk Media Network relaunched a new Americas Morning News as a national morning radio program. It was tightly run, and started after America In the Morning was ended by Westwood One. Produced by Accuminute by Jeff McKay it has host Rich Johnson.
Good work Josh Leng and his scrappy radio network which is rescuing radio at a time when the large radio companies are out of ideas. Radio has needed rescue and reinvention over and over.
They also distribute USA Radio News and offer all sorts of comment and news shows such as Watchdog on Wall Street and America Tonight with Kate Delaney.
McKay was producer of America in the Morning which debuted in 1984. It was originally hosted by Jim Bohannon. John Trout previously hosted. It was one of the innovations of Mutual Radio in the 1980s in its heyday with Larry King.
