Hey everyone! I'm delighted to release the official map for Elëa, the #WorldofEragon! It's been twenty-five years in the making. :D I painted it in rectilinear projection so it can be wrapped on a globe. Also, there will be another, more authentically in-world version, in the Deluxe Edition of Murtagh that comes out this October. As you can see ... there's a lot of room for future stories. And yes, prints are available. 😎 etsy.com/listing/1757453300/…

So the chances of being hunted by a buck are slim... but never zero.
A mature buck (male deer with antlers) stands in the shadows of the forest. Half his face is hidden by the tree from which he peers behind.

The image is zoomed closer to reveal the malicious twinkle in his dark, soulless eye. He knows. Whatever it is. He knows.

Also, there is no better way to understand a topic than to write about it. Any form of teaching, but especially writing, forces thought organization and topic mastery.

The best career advice I can give you as a developer is to blog semi-regularly. This year I've gotten two massive opportunities from having old blog posts someone found.

I’m a Tottenham fan, but Brighton should have taken this game. At LEAST one of those disallowed goals should have been good. Ref slept on at least one penalty too. Brighton played a good game.

Does sending typo feedback notes for @microsoft dotnet docs make me a dotnet contributor? *satire*

I recently switched my running target to duration + heart rate from distance + pace. I have been more consistent than ever before and I’ve been feeling a lot better pre and post runs. Way less pressure on the performance and more focus on enjoying the exercise.

Reading Asimov’s Foundation: “There is no merit in discipline under ideal circumstances.” I’ll think about this line when something inconvenient has surfaced, interfering with my resolutions.
