Congratulations to the cast of Fame Jr. 2023. We are incredibly proud of you all. #QBArts
Absolutely blown away by a brilliant #projectremix concert with @TheCBSO and so so proud of the @qb_sch pupils taking part. Thanks to all the people who worked on this.
Tomorrow I’m speaking to undergrads at Birmingham uni about going into music teaching. @DrFautley @AllyDaubney @KellyDNicklin @Music_bod what are you looking for in a potential music teacher? And what advice would you give them?

It’s busy behind the scenes as the tech team put the final touches to lighting and sound, ready for opening night #Aladdin
Was proud of this. The logistics of making it work with bubbles were hard work so glad that it came off!
Flashback to the last two weeks in the QB music department: Y8 African drumming workshops, Y9 performing Daft Punk as a new GCSE ensemble, performances from some of our QB Voice finalists & 7 bands across the year groups performed to year group bubbles in lunch times. #QBArts
This was fun today!
Really proud of the Y10 GCSE music group who managed to achieve this tricky West African pattern in less than 30mins in their first lesson looking at African drumming.#QBArts

A quick play through a well known piece of music by two of the talented Year 6 pupils at Colmore Junior for the #SFEbrass summer academy week. Fitting for the commencement of any grand occasion. Great sound. Bravo
This is me and my six year old improvising earlier this evening. She hasn’t had loads of lessons, I think she just is a normal 6 year old with normal 6 year old musicality - so how can we nurture this so that the 11 year olds that I see in school have developed from this?
Proud!
In case you haven’t seen it yet, here is a taster of our brilliant Y10 GCSE Music students and QB staff performing ‘Let it Be’. Full video can be found here queensbridge.bham.sch.uk/new…
We have absolutely loved the concert tonight and are in awe of the amount of work in collating and syncing all those performances - thanks! @SFE_MS
Amazing virtual prom @SFE_MS! This trumpeter decided that he “wants to be a musician” whilst listening to the brass band and Royal Marines performing Call of the Brave.
Really proud of these students, especially the ones who performed original songs they have written over lockdown. #QBArts
