Last month, we welcomed Stephanie Phillips from @Big_Joanie for the first Long Play Session of the season.
Discussing her superb new book, We Were Here: A History of Black People & Alternative Music, it was an engrossing and informative talk, brilliantly hosted by @iamsophiek
Throwback to July, when we welcomed Stuart Braithwaite from @mogwaiband & @KeithCameronn to The Long Play Sessions for a brilliant evening discussing Stuart’s memoir, Spaceships Over Glasgow: Mogwai, Mayhem and Misspent Youth.
From childhood memories & the formation of @mogwaiband to a wall of vinyl once considered untouchable it was a great conversation exploring Stuart’s life music & career.
Videos from previous Long Play Sessions are now available on our new YouTube channel.

It was a brilliant, funny, and informative night with topics ranging from the efforts (or lack of) of sending out demos to the absolute hate of Sit Down by @wearejames.

Less than two weeks to go before @msmirandasawyer brings her Talk 90s To Me podcast to The Long Play Sessions with a live audience.
Joining her is @yasisalek host of the much-loved US music podcast Bandsplain as they discuss one of the seminal figures of the 90s, Courtney Love.
From her time as Hole frontwoman, her relationship with Kurt Cobain, the fallout after his suicide, history with drugs & stormy relationship with the press, few people command as much intrigue and interest as Courtney.
