So apparently one of the funny behind-the-scenes reasons for Vox hating Angel is that one of the writers isn’t particularly fond of Angel because he’s “too soft,” and some of that energy ended up in Vox’s dialogue. But now I’m REALLY curious about the actual in-universe reason Vox hates him. Could it have something to do with Valentino? They’ve said that Val does have a certain kind of “love” for Angel, so maybe Vox sees Angel as some sort of romantic rival for Valentino’s attention. But that would make Vox even more contradictory, because he’s completely obsessed with Alastor while apparently not wanting to lose Val either. Honestly, Vox is such a complicated mess when it comes to relationships. Or maybe Angel did something else to Vox that we simply don’t know about yet. I really hope we eventually find out whether his hatred is jealousy over Valentino or if there’s a completely different history between them.
