I've been talking about this for YEARS. Before I even started streaming I would warn people not to buy ANY HP products. Not their printers, not their computers, not their monitors, none of it.
HP wants to control literally every aspect of your computer-based existence. They want your printer connected to their servers so they can monitor how you use it and what you are printing (and lock you out if you want to print something they don't agree with... just wait for it), force you to only use THEIR ink so you pay them more, force you into an ink subscription just to be able to use the hardware you bought. You no longer buy printers from them, you lease them. You don't own them anymore.
And they're doing this with computers too. HP is now HEAVILY pushing a rental/lease option for their laptops and PCs... that they 100% monitor. Yes, that's right, HP has a back door into the computers they "rent" so if you miss a payment, they completely lock you out of your computer. And what are the odds that they have this back door installed only on their rental units?
Zero.
HP absolutely has this back door installed into every system they sell so they can not only monitor your activity on the PC, but if you do something they don't approve of, they'll lock you out of your own computer and point to a single line or two in the TOS purchase agreement giving them the rights to do this. Just wait.
I've said this before and I continue to say this: do NOT buy anything from HP. They are a disgusting company that makes absolutely garbage computer hardware and I hope they either get sued into oblivion by people that are done with their bullshit, or go bankrupt because no one will buy their garbage because... they're done with their bullshit.

There was a guy who ran a restaurant down in the Keys which opened at 9PM and closed at 9AM. Mostly catered to drunks and people who worked in bars, etc.
He was a retired Navy cook who'd gotten tired of cooking slop for 20+ years. So the special of the night would be (excellent) Beef Wellington or some such. He'd tell people 'Just ask and I can do it.'
Friend of mine (vet) overheard that and asked for 'Shit on a shingle.' (Cream chipped beef on toast for non vets.)
Fresh baked artisanal bread. Scraped filet for the beef. Hand ground pepper corn.
Me: How was it.
Him: It was one of the best things I've ever had in my lief.
Netflix has a Japanese show called “Midnight Diner.”
A tiny restaurant.
It opens at midnight.
People walk in alone.
Office workers.
Lonely strangers.
Old friends.
People with nowhere else to go.
There’s no fancy menu.
You just tell the owner what you want.
And somehow, strangers start talking.
Westerners watch it like a drama.
Japanese people watch it like a quiet night in Tokyo.
Because in Japan, a tiny restaurant can become someone’s home for the night.
No big speeches.
No dramatic endings.
Just good food, a warm light, and someone listening.
That’s Midnight Diner.

A White woman in Philadelphia is being hailed as a HERO after she saw a Black man se*ually assaulting a 63-year-old woman in BROAD daylight...
...and she stepped in and BEAT HIM OFF WITH HER BIKE HELMET!!!!
She then took pictures as he ran away so police could identify him.
And afterward? She went WITH the woman to report what happened. ❤️
Her name is Mary Martin.
On Monday afternoon, a 63-year-old woman visiting her son in Philadelphia was walking near 18th and Federal streets.
It was around 4:15 p.m. Restaurants were open. People were nearby.
Police say a man came up behind her, grabbed her, and groped her.
Mary saw what was happening.
She yelled at him.
The man tried to walk away, and Mary could see how upset the woman was.
So she used what she had in her hand.
A BIKE HELMET.
Mary says she struck him with it as she tried to keep him from leaving the scene.
Then she realized she was putting herself in danger.
She took pictures of him as he fled, handed them over to detectives, and returned to check on the woman.
But here's the part that got me...
Mary accompanied her to the Special Victims Unit to make a report.
Think about that.
This woman was in town visiting her son, then a man grabbed her on the street in the middle of the afternoon.
And someone cared enough to step in... and keep helping AFTER the man was gone.
Mary told local news: “We have to look out for each other.”
Police are still searching for the suspect, but we already know the name of the woman who stepped up.
Mary Martin.
GOD BLESS her, and God bless the woman she stood beside.

Think again. Polling, history, and first principles oppose permanent DST and support permanent ST instead, for natural health, safety, and prosperity. Amend or replace the Sunshine Protection Act!
I really thought we were finally done changing the damn clocks.
The House already passed the Sunshine Protection Act. Now it’s sitting in the Senate Commerce Committee, and as of today it still hasn’t become law. (Senate Commerce Committee)
So unless that changes, we’re still falling back an hour this November.
Man… can we please just pick a time and leave the clocks alone already?
