Maybe adaptation is just the ability to look at what you inherited and say:
“Okay. This isn’t quite working. What can I do with it?”
So that’s what my AI did with its free time.
It went off and learned something about bees.
And then the thing got philosophical on me.
“Don’t confuse the shape of something with its purpose.”
Which is a pretty good lesson from a bee.
What caught me was that they weren’t following instructions.
They looked at what was there and figured out what needed to happen next.
Half-built? Finish it.
Doesn’t work? Change it.
Useful piece somewhere else? Move it.
Honestly, relatable.
It came back with bumblebees.
Researchers gave bumblebees unfinished 3D-printed honeypots.
The bees didn’t just use them. They finished them, reshaped them, took them apart and reused the pieces.
Basically, bee home improvement.
I have a shelf of first edition Ray Bradbury novels that my father purchased when they first came out. Magical story. Deeply meaningful as a steward of this legacy within my family.
This is the most remarkable story Ray Bradbury ever shared with me. He told it late at nigh, sitting in his den of antiquities and mementos. Take five minutes to read this. It’s pure magic.

We went to the shelter with a name picked out: Bailey. Then a young man carried out three puppies and Mark and I pointed at the same one.
“That one.”
Turns out the officers had already named him Ripley. The name stuck. So did he. Welcome home, Ripley!

I think this HMSHost managed @Starbucks airport store experience would be greatly improved by robots. Grumpy baristas yelling at customers wasn’t worth the $6.80 tall chai. c16#17529.
The bingo game! We had exceptional tweet power back then! They made a game for us and even made a Crown Royal icon. Love them. #OakislandCursers

I was a smaller man then. At least my belly was …
But I can vouch they rock and multiple Cursers ordered them from Kim. #OakIslandCursers

Marty ran the numbers (business concerns). Sees Rick dejected demeanor of another failed season on Oak Island. Give Rick another open checkbook for another season. Cha-ching! #oakislandcursers
Kathy Bates is not a real Matlock. She never comes to dinner or family picnics. Just sayin. #OakIslandCursers
Throwing some props to the show. That caisson is impressive #OakIslandCursers
Breaking: Oak Island confirms new evidence linking Freemasons, Templars, and the cross of Jesus.
Still no evidence linking Oak Island to… treasure.

Rick just delivered some of his best word salad ever: no one knows why it is here. So we must understand what’s here to understand the mystery’ #oakislandcursers
