Nairobi is becoming dirtier by the day—even areas like Kilimani and Lavington, right next to State House.
Sometimes I genuinely wonder: does the President ever walk beyond the gates of State House? Does he see the overflowing bins, filthy streets, broken pavements and general neglect around the city?
Do our leaders ever experience Nairobi on foot, the way ordinary citizens do? Because if they did, surely this situation would bother them.
Nairobi is our capital city. Why have we accepted this?
My little perfume collection. 🥰 I may not have everything figured out, but smelling good is sorted. 😂✨
😂😂😂
Men,
Before I forget,
Sleep with as many women as you want.
You are a hero.
Your friends will clap for you.
Your future wife will be proud of your sexual mastery and experience.
After all, a master key opens all the padlocks on earth.
Go King, GO!

At the expense of their future.
Such a foolish move.
The number of times I have seen people asking me to buy of their car loans when they are about to be repossessed is makes me wonder what they were thinking when taking those loans.
They say to live in the moment.
Guys who buy cars on loans while having zero shillings invested, what is your financial logic?
Personally, I can't imagine buying a car, even when I have enough cash, if paying for it would wipe out my savings.
How do you sleep peacefully knowing that half your salary goes into servicing a car loan while you have little or nothing invested?Imagine earning net salary if 100K and 50K is going to finance a 3M car?
A car depreciates. Your investments compound.My practical car-buying rule:
- Build an emergency fund covering 3–6 months of essential expenses before buying a car.
- Invest consistently before committing to a major lifestyle expense.
-If you must take a loan, keep total car cost- loan repayments, fuel, insurance, maintenance, and parking , below 15–20% of your take-home pay.
- Never drain your savings to buy a car, and don't finance a lifestyle you can't comfortably afford.
A car should serve your life, not dictate your financial future.Before financing a lifestyle, build a financial foundation. Your salary should be building your wealth, not just funding your liabilities.My approach is simple: I want my money working for me before I commit to expensive lifestyle choices. I'd rather drive a modest car worth around 1M or less, while building my investment portfolio than own an expensive car while living paycheck to paycheck.

Personally, I am very gracious towards people who take alcohol. I am not better than them. I don’t judge them. I can enjoy their company while still encouraging them to quit.
Why? Alcohol is a psychoactive drug that crosses the blood-brain barrier and affects how the brain functions. With repeated use, it can lead to dependence and addiction, sometimes taking control of a person’s life.
My concern is never to judge the person, but to warn them about the drug. You can love people who drink without glorifying alcohol. You can encourage them to quit without looking down on them.
Addiction is not a moral failure.
The power of social media! 👏🏾 On my daily walk today, I noticed the streetlights along State House Road, all the way to Dennis Pritt Road, are working!
We raised our voices, and it’s good to see progress. Now let’s keep them working. A well-lit Nairobi should be the norm.

Overcoming Fear and Negative Thoughts; A Journey Back to Inner Peace(Please repost)
Allow us to begin with this; you do not have to fight your fear or force yourself to think positively to become free of negative thoughts.
The first and most important step is to learn to stop giving those thoughts control over your inner world; observe from a neutral stand point, as if they are not your own, for in truth they are not.
Fear is a part of the old matrix program. It may arise from past experiences, uncertainty about the future, or the mind trying to protect you from something it perceives as a threat. The goal is to reach a place where fear no longer dictates how you live. And this begins by returning to the heart center; by making the journey from the mind to the heart.
Stop fighting your thoughts
When a negative thought appears, do not panic, do not judge yourself, or struggle to push it away. Fighting a thought often gives it more attention and makes it return more frequently.
Instead, acknowledge it;
"I notice this thought, but I do not have to believe it. A thought is not a fact, and it does not define who I am."
Let the thought come and go without following it into a long chain of worry.
You are the awareness observing the thought, not the thought itself.
Bring yourself back to the present moment, back to the heart
Fear often lives in imagined futures and scenarios, while regret lives in the past. Your point of consciousness is focused in the present.
When you feel overwhelmed;
Pause, close your eyes,
Inhale a deep slow breath in through your nose,
Exhale gently, through mouth..
Relax your shoulders, jaw, and hands.
Repeat for a few minutes. You are reminding your nervous system that you can return to the present instead of following every frightening possibility your mind creates.
Stop feeding the cycle of negativity
Pay attention to what you repeatedly expose yourself to. Constantly consuming alarming news, arguments, hostile discussions, or frightening predictions can keep your mind in a state of tension.
You do not have to ignore what is happening in the world. You can remain aware without absorbing those energies.
Choose carefully what you watch, read, listen to, and discuss. Give yourself time for nature, music, silence, exercise, and meaningful conversations.
You can embody peace without avoiding reality. It is your choice as to how much of your attention you give to outer events.
Question the story behind the fear
When a negative thought appears, ask yourself;
Is this something I know to be true, or something I am afraid might happen?
Am I responding to what is happening now, or imagining the worst possible outcome?
Is there anything constructive I can do about this?
What would I think about this situation if I were feeling calm?
If there is a real problem, take one practical step. If it is an imagined possibility you cannot resolve right now, practice letting it remain uncertain without repeatedly trying to solve it. Always remember that you are doing well in the present. If you do not truly feel that way, shift your thoughts, shift your perspective.
Replace self criticism with self compassion
Sometimes the negativity you experience comes from the way you speak to yourselves.
Instead of saying, "Why am I like this? Why can I not stop thinking negatively?" Say;
"I am going through a difficult moment, and I can meet it with patience and greater awareness. I can take this one moment at a time. I am at the center, where it is peaceful."
Treat yourself with the same understanding you would offer someone you love.
Strengthen your inner connection
From a spiritual perspective, fear arises from identification with the temporary self. When a person believes they are only their body, personality, possessions, reputation, or earthly circumstances, the possibility of losing these things can become a source of anxiety, something that arises within your experience, rather than something that defines your deepest self.
Fear grows when trust in the Divine is lost. The mind tries to control the future because it cannot tolerate uncertainty. Inner trust allows a person to act without needing to know or control every outcome.
Fears and triggers can often reveal what still needs healing. Rather than condemning yourself for feeling afraid, you can look at the belief beneath the fear and bring it into awareness.
Love and fear represent different inner orientations. Love opens the heart, while fear tends to contract awareness around perceived threats, separation, and self protection.
Spend a few minutes each day in quiet meditation, prayer, or contemplation. Bring your attention to your heart and reflect on qualities such as love, gratitude, forgiveness, and trust.
You might repeat these words slowly;
I return to the present.
I release what I cannot control.
I allow my thoughts to pass without giving them power over me.
I choose love over fear, in every moment.
Take care of your physical body
Your mental and physical states influence each other. Lack of sleep, excessive caffeine, inactivity, and prolonged stress can make fearful thoughts more intense.
Try to maintain a regular sleep schedule, move your body daily, spend time outdoors, eat regularly, and make space for activities that bring you genuine enjoyment.
You do not need to solve every emotional difficulty through thinking. Sometimes your mind needs rest, your body needs movement, and your life needs a little more balance.
I hope this helps everyone that takes the time to read and understand this.
Much love to you all!(Please repost this so that it reaches others who may be looking for a bit of help and guidance.)
