EnglandL land of the unfriendly, unhelpful and couldn't be bothered. It's good to be back.
I think I just gave an Arab £20 for a fish supper. Surely we must be in the last days! I wish I had listened better in the maths class.
Give thanks for God's blessing on our trip: for friendships made and renewed and encouragement through fellowship in worship and the word.
Mission over, 007 jets off into the sunrise with the beautiful Moneypenny and Isaiah the dog. Pray for a safe journey.
A lovely morning with Vimal and Louise. We may not have solved all of Sri Lanka's problems but it seems like we covered most of them.
Finally encountered the barber. The good news? Great value and it'll last ages. The head massage is amazin - I think my brain's liquidised.
Bumped into Vimal, Louise and the girls in Colombo. They look good but pray for Louise who has had a severe allergy since coming here.
Left Kandy to the sound of Buddhist monks chanting. Beautiful surroundings but darkened hearts that cannot see God's glory. Romans 1.
6:00 am and on the road from Kandy to Colombo. The tea pickers are up and busy before the heat of the day.
On the road to Kandy. How magnificent is our God to make a world so beautiful and diverse. May He cause your heart to rejoice in Him today.
They say i look like James Bond with my white hat on - clearly these kids don't get out much. Moneypenny had a great day at the beach.
Today, a trip to the seaside with the young people. Do i smell lunch or did someone leave a dead fish no the bus?
Outside on a still cool evening, listening to the crickets and rejoicing together in God's goodness. A taste of Heaven, but for the bugs!
Good services in Batticaloa. Completed the studies on Ephesians 3. The last two studies with the young people are at 4:00.
Spoke to the new church in Dhevindran's house at 7:30. 50 adults and children came. There's a Sunday School before the service too.
