در حالیکه جمهوری اسلامی و بلندگوهای خارج از کشورش مدعیند به خاطر تحریم‌ها دارو‌در ایران کمیاب شده، جمهوری اسلامی دویست میلیون دلار به عنوان کمک هزینه به طرفداران حزب‌الله، هر خانواده سه هزار دلار، کمک کرده است. این جدای از کمک سالانه یک میلیارد دلاری رژیم به حزب‌الله لبنان است که خرج بودجه نظامی حزب‌الله می‌شود.
