The legacy of great teachers is not usually found in the lessons they taught their students… but in the relationships they built with their students.

Too many teachers leave our profession too early. Not because they don’t love teaching. Because of the way they are led and treated and valued.

Inquiry and #learningpower in Year 1. The children had to convince me that habitats matter for animals. They embraced the activity! @EleishaSmyth @ErinnFitzsimm13 @beckycarlzon @kjinquiry @Seesaw

Help your students think for themselves. When they're stuck with their learning, coach them with supportive questions, rather than just giving them the answers.

Have a student you're struggling with? Try the 'two-by-ten' strategy: For two minutes each day, 10 days in a row, have a personal conversation with the #student about anything the student is interested in. Wonderfully simple and wildly effective. #edchat #education
