Our qualitative study will explore the impact workplace friendships have on the wellbeing of teachers, principals/vice principals, nurses, and physicians who have long been
shouldering the burden of
inadequate support within the Canadian public healthcare and education systems. We have found that education and health professionals rely heavily on the psychological and practical support of their work colleagues to survive in these challenging times.
