An estimated more than 23,000 votes were cast in the Khalistan Referendum in Edmonton on Sunday, according to organizers, with voting extended by the Punjab Referendum Commission (PRC) to accommodate voters who remained in line beyond the scheduled closing time.
Addressing a gathering of thousands at the October 18 Khalistan Referendum in Edmonton, Sikhs For Justice (SFJ) General Counsel Gurpatwant Singh Pannun announced that SFJ is funding and supporting CJP and youth movements in India under its Fifth-Generation Warfare 5GW strategy, with the declared political objective of “Toppling Modi’s Regime.”
Referring to the assassination of Shaheed Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada, Pannun accused Modi’s regime of using bullets to stop the Khalistan Referendum and demanded accountability of Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, S. Jaishankar, Ajit Doval and Samant Goel.
Pannun outlined three fronts in SFJ’s 5GW campaign for Punjab’s independence from India:
1. KHALISTAN REFERENDUM — Mobilizing Sikhs globally to exercise their right to self-determination through the ballot.
Pannun also announced that, beginning November 1 — Sikh Genocide Remembrance Day — SFJ will launch a campaign to register two million voters for the Khalistan Referendum, parallel to Punjab’s Assembly election process.
2. CJP and Youth MOVEMENT: —Funding and supporting political movements challenging Modi’s government from within India. “For the first time — Hindustani versus Hindustani,” Pannun declared.
3. ABANDON INDIAN MARKETS - KILL Modi’s India Economically — Pursuing foreign investments to “Abandon Indian Market”.

A catastrophic blast at Canadian Forces Base Wainwright, Alberta has reportedly resulted in multiple fatalities and injuries during a live fire military training operation.
According to local sources on base, Canadian Forces personnel had been conducting exercises over several days when an artillery projectile reportedly struck an active natural gas well on the bombing range, triggering a massive detonation.
The blast is said to have levelled nearby tactical training buildings, with subsequent fires reaching munitions storage and setting off secondary detonations across the range.
The geography and infrastructure;
➟ CFB Wainwright has a documented history of natural gas production, with approximately 180 wells reported on the military property in 2014.
➟ Military range maps identify munitions storage, pipelines and designated live fire danger areas near Peterson Pond.
➟ NASA FIRMS satellite imagery recorded multiple thermal hotspots between Peterson Pond and Jamieson Lake on October 17.
Local accounts also describe hospitals activating Code Orange protocols, mobilizing stretchers and preparing for a significant influx of casualties.
The reported gas well strike, secondary detonations and hospital emergency measures remain unconfirmed as authorities investigate the incident.

Following the electoral victory of Quebec’s pro-independence Parti Québécois, Sikhs For Justice (SFJ) General Counsel Gurpatwant Singh Pannun has invited Quebec separatist leader and Premier-designate Paul St-Pierre Plamondon and representatives of the Parti Québécois to attend the October 18 Khalistan Referendum at the Alberta Legislature Grounds in Edmonton as observers.
Congratulating St-Pierre Plamondon on his electoral victory, Pannun commended the Parti Québécois for continuing to champion the democratic principle that the people of Quebec should have the right to determine their own political future.
Referring to St-Pierre Plamondon’s victory speech declaration, “This dream of being a nation will one day be realized,” Pannun said the message resonates with the political aspirations of Sikhs seeking an independence or Punjab from Indian occupation.
“In Canada, Quebec’s independence movement can contest elections, form a government and advocate an independence referendum. In Alberta, the question of separation is part of an open democratic process. Yet in India, the Modi regime treats peaceful advocacy for a Khalistan Referendum as ‘terrorism,’" Pannun stated.
