preparations begin for the funeral procession of the remains of 105 victims of the Al-Taj residential massacre in Gaza, recovered from beneath the rubble of buildings destroyed during the war.
‼️WATCH | This is how the Israeli military carried out the Al-Taj residential massacre in Gaza City in October 2023. The residential block was struck with 20 U.S.-made GBU-31 heavy bombs, each weighing nearly one ton, completely obliterating the area and burying more than 500 civilians beneath the ruins.
In the first phase, 120 bodies were recovered. More recently, the remains of 101 additional victims were recovered, bringing the total number of bodies and remains recovered to 221. Dozens of other victims were never recovered, their bodies incinerated or disintegrated by the immense destructive force of the bombardment.😭
