WE AS A SOCIETY HAVE DEMONIZED THE LEARNING PROCESS AND THE CONCEPT OF "FAILING FORWARD" FOR TOO LONG. WE MUST TEACH OURSELVES TO ENJOY LEARNING AGAIN EVEN IF WE STRUGGLE, CHILDREN AND ADULTS ALIKE
The main reason why most people don't succeed at anything is because they're not prepared to be bad at something for a long time.

Hahahaha exactly my point, I don’t know some people care that much or bother about what rivals fans think
Yall think some likes on Twitter and some panelist’s or jealous podcasters who talk a lot because their clubs are mismanaged for decades can tell city fans what to feel about pep and their clubs? Lmao good luck!

Simon Jordan on his views on Man City "I have spoken relentlessly and I have been abused by Man City fans repeatedly because I dare to talk about it [115 charges] but now I'm pragmatic about my thinking and I think what Man City are doing will bring a whole lot of change in British football and the premier league will look at itself and it's rule as UTTER-BULLSHIT and anti-competitive" nitter.cf/dololight/status/21073…

I think the level of hysteria around the Man City case is becoming very weird. People genuinely acting like the Club has to be destroyed and sent to the shadow realm have lost the plot in my opinion. They weren’t found guilty of match fixing. They weren’t paying refs. This isn’t comparable to the Serie A scandal or Lance Armstrong. They saw an anti-competitive and unjust rule which only allowed the same 4 teams to dominate the League and said “no, we don’t want to wait decades to slowly build up revenues and have to sell our best players every time they do well to stop us from succeeding. We have the money, we’re not going to be irresponsible with Man City’s finances, we want to invest and compete now”. Again, the idea that every team other than 3/4 in the League has to go on a constant merry-go-round of “hey that player for you guys is really good, we’re going to just take him because you can’t invest any more of your own money and he would be wasted at a middling team like you” is wrong. It doesn’t help football in this country and the rules should change to allow these clubs to be bought by owners with even deeper pockets who can give those clubs and even higher chance of sustained success.

If success is difficult or highly unrealistic, all you have to do is redefine success. 1. Homes getting expensive? You save for a downpayment, and then when you finally have it, the goal post has moved so far ahead that you're effectively back at square one again after 10 years? Just give up the goal of home ownership. What's with the ego of being a homeowner? What we need is shelter, not a title deed to the building we live in. Build remote income instead, and either buy overseas or just keeping moving from place to place every few years, living your best life. A better measure of success is your ability to just move to any city or country you like on a whim. You know how few people can do that? 2. Marriage getting riskier? You want to settle down for the traditional monogamous life with 1 woman, but the horror stories of divorce rape and cucking and dead bedrooms have piled up so much that they're no longer prudent or rational to ignore? Just give up the goal of marriage. What's with the ego of being a husband? What we need is intimacy, not an official piece of paper saying you're tied to this 1 woman. Reimagine your romantic life, forget about settling for 1 woman if all modern-day problems seem to stem from an archaic mindset that's completely incompatible with the realities of the modern world. Get good at dating instead, have situationships or even long-term unmarried relationships where you always retain the option to leave unscathed. A better measure of success is if you can access the intimacy you want, WITHOUT giving up your sovereignty, autonomy, agency, and finances like most men do. You know how few people can do that? - These are just 2 examples of how you can redefine success to better adapt to the contemporary realities of the modern world. There are many more old yardsticks of success that are "ripe" for redefinition -- or as a slimy VC would say, ripe for "disruption" -- college, career, social status, children, retirement all come to mind. If the old yardstick of success has become too untenable, demoralizing, and even meaningless to pursue, maybe you're running in the wrong race after all. It's not cope, because the alternatives I suggest are even more difficult than the traditional routes of success. BUT it's not pointlessly harder -- it's more difficult with a way better pay-off. The rewards are way more fulfilling and rewarding; they actually "make sense." They'll change your life if you succeed at them. And all you need to do is to change your mindset, break away from the pack, think for yourself, and realize that the solution to your life problems isn't working even harder at reaching success. ...but to redefine it in the first place, be at peace with yourself that it's "worth it," and only then giving it your all. If I can just leave you with just 1 takeaway today, it's this: If the conventional definition of success no longer produces a life you actually want, don't automatically conclude that you're failing. Question the definition of success itself. – at Barcelona, Spain

Leave your ego at the door. If you want to succeed at anything, leave your ego at the door. 1. Want to move abroad and start living life on your own terms? Start at remote income. And I mean REAL remote income. I don't give a fuck how much you make now from your wagecucking corporate slave job. You're a fucking loser, and you know it. EVEN if it's "remote." Can you make $100/mo on the internet without being on somebody's leash? If you can't even do that, then forget about moving abroad -- you're dead in the water before you begin. I know most people aren't ready to create real remote income, because they ask me stupid questions like "would you pick $200k 9-5 or $50k remote?" You're not ready if you're still asking that. 2. Want to build a sexy enviable body where you won't ever feel shy taking off your shirt in public? Then start with the lowest weights in the gym. Stop swinging the weights with momentum when you obviously can't do it with full range of motion and slowing down the eccentric. I don't care if you have to drop to 5-lb dumbbells to do proper lateral raises -- you do it and start from the very bottom. Otherwise you'll still look like shit after a year of going to the gym, I can assure you of that. 3. WOMEN, now this is the WORST place where men have a Manhattan-sized ego. Most men date for ego and validation. They do WHATEVER IT TAKES to snag the hottest woman they can on their arm, so that they can show her off to friends, family, co-workers, and even strangers, both online and in real life. Whatever it takes. Simp, worship her, move mountains for her, chop off your balls at City Hall, let her walk all over you, let her treat you like absolute shit. And even guys who want to have a sex life have too much of an ego to sleep with "mids." Newsflash, loser: Even the "mids" would reject you for a hookup, and you know it. Hell even the fat girls would reject you for a hookup, and you know it too. If you can't even close a mid/fat, you can't close a hottie. It's pretty fucking obvious. Either you leave your ego at the door and start with girls at your REAL standard/looksmatch (you own a mirror, don't you?). Or you just sell out and take the easy way out by using money to bribe some so-called "hot" woman who despises you to the core to pretend to like you so that she can retire for life on your dime. What are you going to do? Forever goon to porn like the fucking loser you are while grandstanding on the internet about how high your standards in women are? Or are you going to leave your ego at the door, start at the bottom, and then work your way up? Which way, anon? – at Barcelona, Spain
