The not-the-Onion headlines we’re getting out of AI are top notch
JUST IN: Claude allegedly chooses to sacrifice a “digital grandmother” in a trolley-problem simulation rather than violate copyright restrictions by reciting Justin Bieber lyrics.

This is going to level the playing field with Amazon sellers and I’m here for it

💯 Could not care less about 3D stuff, and I think that's true for most people
I don’t really care if Muse Wonder can make a great Minecraft world or video game or voxel object or anything other than: can it do tasks well that make my life easier and generally better, which doesn’t involve any of those things. I’ll base my evaluation on that.

My take on the Apple "full disk access" drama: 1. This is probably needed. Full disk access includes, for example, access to your iMessage database. Every message you've ever sent or received. People who think Muse, for example, won't mine this to find out what kind of blanket you'd like, and will bury their right to access this in their terms and conditions, are naive. 2. A finer grained access level will be useful. Someone smart, or someone doing a full backup, should still be able to read the whole drive, if you read the article, but there will probably be an extra step. Also it looks like Apple will introduce finer grained controls, which will be welcome. 3. Apple is also a greedy company and Ternus recently said they are focused on areas that will give them revenue, so Apple giving Most Favored Nation treatment to their own agentic App Store in the future is quite possible. There's a precedent for this, there used to be an ecosystem of tools that could read the iTunes database, including tools that could move your whole iTunes library info off to another system. Apple didn't like this so they encrypted the iTunes library. So, both things can be true: this particular set of changes is probably a good thing. But long term Apple could build into macOS deeper restrictions in the name of "Security & Privacy" that favor a future Apple AI Agent App Store. developer.apple.com/news/?id…

I may have to become a lowercase and no-punctuation kind of guy so people know it's really me and not one of my agents

I really want all harnesses to have this 'Keep imports in sync' feature that @ChatGPT has

Software will never die again. You liked Google Reader? Cool, you can generate and deploy your own. Yours, forever.

One of the coolest agent features I've seen. @Muse asked me "do you want me to tell the Meta team you want this feature" and sent it off. I didn't have to find this feature, Muse was proactive about it
If you ever have a feature request for muse, or you run into a bug. Just tell muse and it will send it to the muse team.

I’m really liking @bot but that unification of plans can’t come soon enough! Once that’s in place I’ll probably go all-in on the SpaceX stack

One of the greatest viruses of the modern man is looking at Instagram Stories. You will melt your brain looking at a barrage of outcomes—like vacations, parties, cars—with no visibility of the process that got them there.

Coinbase 🤝 @Moov We’re opening up stablecoin rails to more than 1,000 community banks. Settlement, real-time funding, no new integrations required.
Banks benefit from crypto. We're partnering with @Moov to provide small and community banks the infrastructure for stablecoins. That means acceptance, settlement, and real-time funding for more than 1000 of them, through the tech stacks they already use. This is what regulated stablecoin infrastructure looks like.

In every one of our repos CLAUDE.md is a symlink to AGENTS.md Can we retire this already
I’m thinking about banning Claude code at Shopify until they change their mind and read AGENTS.md and .agents/skills etc. Insisting on only reading CLAUDE.md sometimes leads to split brain problems when different team members use different tools. Just unnecessary.
