western labs are in the trenches arguing over whether ā20xā means 5 hours or 7 days, while chinese labs are just sitting back and enjoying the pricing circus.
glm, kimi, deepseek, qwen: we shipped the model.
openai, anthropic, google, meta: one sec, legal is still figuring out where to put the asterisk.
lmao straight out of the bezos playbook. uni can afford 0.25% fees, everyone else canāt.
bots farming that 1% are probably next. classic big platform move.
Replying to @ericzhong
its simple, uniswap tries to undercut the margin of every launchpad that exists and then flips on the fees.
as jeff bezos once said "your margin is my opportunity"

Hot take: Opus 5 sucks!
Iām using AI hardcore and Opus 5 is simply dumb. Like IQ 80 maximum.
Switched back to Opus 4.8, much better.
Not sure what Anthropic did but I donāt like the real life results.
i donāt think people fully realise how massive the crypto x AI convergence is about to become.
crypto provides the rails: ownership, coordination, payments, and permissionless infrastructure.
ai brings the intelligence: agents, automation, decision-making, and new ways to interact with onchain systems.
brian is 100% right. this isnāt a zero-sum game.
crypto will make AI more open and economically useful, while AI will make crypto far more accessible and productive.
both sectors are going to accelerate each other. the real winners will be built at the intersection.
"If you're in crypto, pivot to AI."
I used to hear versions of this, and it's the wrong way to think about the world. It's zero sum, scarcity thinking.
Crypto is a general purpose technology. It's infrastructure, the same way electricity or the internet is infrastructure. It doesn't compete with the next big thing, because it underpins it. It's an *and*, not an *or*.
AI being a megatrend takes nothing away from crypto. If anything, it makes crypto more important.
AI agents will need their own financial infrastructure and will eventually transact far more per day than all humans combined. They can't open a bank account, they can't wait three days for a wire, they reside in one country. They need real time programmable money (and that's crypto).
Agents will need to hold funds and pay for things on their own. We pioneered this with the x402 protocol, Base, and USDC, which now power the vast majority of all agentic payments. Agents will also engage in trading and act as a financial advisor. They will raise or borrow money for new projects they are undertaking. They will eliminate tasks for us around tax planning, portfolio rebalancing, and bill pay.
Welcome to the world of Agentic Finance (AiFi). This is what Coinbase is building.
the scariest part of agentic ai isnāt that it codes faster than you. itās that it keeps trading while you sleep.
a team of agents can run 24/7 scanning smart money and whale wallets, tracking volume liq and holder flow, reading narratives in real time, finding setups off your rules, setting entries sl tp, then executing the second conditions print.
meanwhile youāre still opening 12 tabs staring at charts waiting for the next candle to confirm.
not a magic money printer btw. agents can still be wrong, get exploited, or walk into fake liq. if you skip risk youāre just automating getting cooked.
but the gap is obvious. you only trade when youāre online. agents trade whenever thereās edge. markets donāt wait for your alarm.
the next great trader might not be the best chart reader. it might just be whoever builds the best team of trading agents first.
not sure why people are fading @0xDeployer
heās been shipping serious crypto x ai tech nonstop for years while CT keeps aping the ponzi of the week.
real builders always get ignored first. then everyone pretends they saw it coming š

the bankr incident is a reminder: social accounts are now part of financial infrastructure, but security and recovery still lag behind.
a passkey protects your login, not necessarily your session or funds. secure the wallet, not just the account.

opus 5 max just hit #1 on artificial analysis. 61 pts. beat fable 5. beat gpt-5.6 sol.
first time anthropic clears fable on the composite index. agentic +146 elo vs fable. joint #1 coding agent. 1m context. same $5/$25 pricing.
catch: cost/task is $2.03, almost 2x sol ($1.04). sol still king on $/intelligence + speed.
max agentic quality ā”ļø opus. cheap + fast ā”ļø sol.
whatāre you maining rn?
