Hey @LBIAirport, I found this key in the 1 hour free parking section at 3am, there was no one in the airport to give it to though.
Same income. Same house. Same relationship.
The @ukhomeoffice refused our partner visa in June, then approved it in August.
The only thing that changed was the letterhead. Finding that out cost us just under ยฃ6,000.

My gf had her Visa Application declined from the @ukhomeoffice because supposedly I dont meet the financial requirements because they couldn't add my previous permanent employment salary to my current self-employment. How can a government entity not do basic maths?

@ukhomeoffice I'd love to understand why this was an issue, and why it seems the dispute process will take over a year to complete too? - in-which if you looked at the application in a realistic manor you'd see we're well over the financial requirements.
Maybe @Keir_Starmer can help out with some maths on understanding what happens when someone is transitioning between a permanent employeed to a self-employment in a tax year?
