During the BLM riots people tried to break into my building. My block was looted and the noise was unlike anything I’ve ever heard in my life.
My heart aches for the people of Paris. But I also feel anger that somehow so many people still have no idea this happened.
The fireworks shot at my building, the mobs of people brought in over the bridges and allowed to do this.
The world better wake up and if the press keeps lying about these violent acts that destroy trust and communities and justifying them - well, then they are as much to blame as the feckless politicians for allowing it.

Wrong. It's not possible for Israel to lose the moral high ground for sooooo many reasons, some of which I shall enumerate, not bc they will sway anyone committed to the lying death cult of "pro-palestinianism," but because it will make me feel better to do so.
1. Israel did not start this war. There wasn't a single Jew in Gaza on 10/7 bc they're not allowed to. Israel withdrew all IDF *and* Jews, even those who's lived there for generations--forced them out at gunpoint leaving everything behind, and desecrating Jewish graves to move the dead so not a Jew would be there. Everything that has happened since has been 100% the Gazan's doing--from misdirecting billions in aid money to building tunnels, to raising children to hate and kill, to firing thousands of rockets into Israel.
2. The war didn't start for TWENTY DAYS, so the people of Gaza--the so-called "innocent civilians" had three weeks to pressure Hamas (their government, elected by the people remember) to return all hostages and hand over the perpetrators (all 6,000 of them). Naturally they didn't bc many of them were helping Hamas keep and torture the hostages, and even committed atrocities themselves. They celebrated the attacks, in broad daylight with their children watching. They knew what Israel would do and they welcomed it.
3. No military in the history of warfare has been as human as the IDF. The USA can't hold a candle to them. They warn civilians. They clear areas before demolishing, at great risk to their own personnel. I put it to you our armed forces would revolt if ordered to do some of the suicidally dangerous shit the IDF is ordered to do on the daily, including vaccinating and feeding an enemy trained from toddlerhood to hate and kill them.
4. Egypt and Jordan won't do SHIT for these people and refuse to take refugees. They are Muslim and Arab, and stand with the Palestinians at the UN every time, but won't help these people even though Israel does. Why is that, and why the double standard as far as "moral high ground?"
5. Israel ensures over 3,000 calories per DAY per PERSON gets into Gaza. What happens after that is the stuff of horror films, but you don't see the media (or Obama) commenting on that! Hamas shoots its own people rather than allow them to eat without first PAYING for the aid. Some they just refuse to feed.
6. Palestinians are still holding remains of hostages long dead. Why?
7. It's still in the Hamas charter to destroy Israel and kill every Jew in it, and it's still the goal of pan Arabism to destroy the west. Obama is lying if he claims he doesn't know that. He knows, he just doesn't care bc he knows the elite in such a society are fine, and he's elite.
8. Hamas lies about casualties and we now know members of UNWRA participated in the attacks and hostage taking, so any numbers coming out of the UN are--at best--suspect.
9. There's an obvious double standard in the western press when it comes to reporting causalities. Jews "die," Palestinians are "children" up to the age of 21, and they are "murdered," "slaughtered," "killed," etc. Jewish children? Never mentioned, not at the UN, not in our media. Were it not for independent media no one on the west would have heard of the Bibas boys.
10. This could still end tomorrow. All they have to do is renounce Hamas, throw out their genocidal charter and commit to a denazificication process in their society, starting with their schools and other institutions, but they won't bc they are so deep in the mind-fuck that is this cult.
But people like Obama know better. Being anti-Israel at this point is a fashion trend, having nothing to do with facts or principles.

I’ve been following James Lindsay’s [@ConceptualJames] work for a decade.
And over the last couple of years, since working in this space, I’ve developed somewhat of a friendship here with him and speak with him often. I can tell you with full confidence that he’s more conservative than most of the weirdos parading around under the banner of “Christian Nationalism.”
He doesn’t hate Christians.
He doesn’t hate conservatives.
Quite the opposite.
And there’s proof. Lots of it.
He’s spent the better part of a decade warning Christians and conservatives about the enemies within their own ranks, often when nobody else was willing to do so, at great personal expense.
And now, ironically, those very same enemies, particularly the Christian nationalists, are desperately trying to convince conservatives that James himself is the enemy.
It’s a lie. And conservatives would be foolish to fall for it.
