IDLE happened.
Six hours of an ambient, slowly changing audiovisual piece in a theater is a strange thing to ask people to sit with, and yet people kept showing up all night, some staying until the very end. That part genuinely surprised me.

Besides IDLE, some of my earlier animation works were spread across the venue's public areas, playing on ten screens and projectors throughout the night.

Hi. Been building a generative audiovisual piece called IDLE. It runs continuously in the background of a city-wide event. All night I feed things into it, text, images, sounds, and it slowly builds an imperfect memory of the evening.
Premieres tomorrow at Kunstnacht, Nijmegen.
Kunstnacht is a city-wide art night in Nijmegen, Netherlands, with dozens of acts and venues in one evening.

Let me know if you're in NL and plan to come.
