AI is moving too fast to build a lasting product around what models can do today. That capability will improve, spread, and eventually become standard. The real difference is the trust, context, judgment, and relationships around it. The model gives you possibilities. The product decides what should actually happen.
Opus 5 is live in Claude Code and the Claude Platform today. A few things worth knowing: 🧵 xitter.cf/claudeai/status/208069…

One more thing: we’re halving the price of cache reads on Claude Sonnet 5.5, to $0.10 per million tokens. That makes Sonnet 5.5 around 20% cheaper to run on most long-running work.

I didn’t trust them before but now I literally watch any delivery driver I see, “period” and note their face. This world is crazy. The milk man days are long gone.

I got into marketing due to my love of design and somehow became a data engineer. 🫪

Hey Michael, just checking in to see if today is the day you’re going to let us scam you? Just wanted to bump this in case it got lost. Thanks again, we’ll check back next week!

My dot doesn’t work and just stops every single turn. They’re taking away 50% for this?!?!?

Drop the formalities and start messaging prospects like you’re talking to someone on X. “Bro, are you really about to just raw dog your Twilio account like that?”

Cold email is best when positioned as complimentary to your other marketing efforts. It performs best when you can strategically place them in the decision phase. That’s 10x if you have real signal intent for them.
29
Cold email is THE worst money pit if you don’t really have a sales process. Prepare to waste a few months of your life.

Your ability to make money has NOTHING to do with your expertise or even if you can deliver. It has EVERYTHING to do with educate and speed when talking to people.

Believe it or not, I use @claudeai to design how CirclStdio’s agent team behaves. Making an agent work is the easy part now. Teaching it what’s good, what’s lazy, and when to shut up is the actual build.

Fair warning that school starts back this month and the builder dads are hungry.

I would definitely advise that you read the code, but I also believe it’s true that reading code is on the way out. Soon there will be a side by side test on a fully agent built app VS a code reviewed or fully human built app. People wont be happy with the results.

I think buzz from @blocks could potentially be configured as a deliverable company or platform brain a lot better than an agent config by itself. You could deliver a working company potentially to anyone.
25
So we aren’t going to talk about how @OpenAI made weekly limits sustainable in token cost?
22
The craziest thing I’ve probably seen in the agency scene is how small customers will actually get mad at you for doing something for their business that they didn’t know about or couldn’t do themselves and even refuse to pay you based on “I could’ve done that”.

I wish we could buy resets.

Your email campaigns failing because your writing✍️ sucks. There I said it!

I’m an Implamentation consultant and It’s really sad how many incompetent account managers are at these companies they’re turning your enterprise customers away and loosing the company SUPER big company deals. I research companies well before I reach out to refer them and most failed deals are almost entirely due to an account manager who just doesn’t give a shit about your company.
