On this date in 1845, first baseball game played that would hit the newspapers. Brooklyn beats NY, 22-1. Reported three days later, in the True Sun, October 13, 1845. (Don't get me started on single-wicket cricket.)
Last night the Guardians were the last team to move up to the LCS step. Both series are now set. Who will advance to the World Series?
Tonight is the @Chicago_Wolves home opener. I'm watching the Sox-Guardians game on my phone while also watching the Wolves and Moose.
Game 84 of the season is ALDS Game 4 between the @whitesox and @CleGuardians. I'm in the Uecker seats tonight, last row of the upper deck with a great view of downtown behind me.
Last night the Dodgers, Brewers and Rays all moved up to the LCS step. Who will be the last team to join them?
I will be in attendance for the game tonight.

ALT Christina with Ruckus.
ALT In Roswell.
ALT Southwest University Park at night from our hotel room.
Going through the Dogs schedule I see that AA is playing 102 games next season. It looks like the divisions will be Dogs, Gary, Lake Country, MKE and KC in one with Lincoln, Sioux City, Sioux Falls, Winnipeg and FM in the other.
We have @TheChicagoDogs 2027 schedule!!
Ten years. One huge summer. 🌭🎉 The 2027 schedule is HERE! 🗓️ Our 10th Anniversary kicks off May 7, and we've got some big surprises in store. #NoKetchup

Like most, I find the Ozarks Springbirds a little underwhelming. It's clear they only made the change because they had to.
For anyone who watched Everybody Hates Chris. The name is what you get if you went to Risky looking for the Springfield Cardinals.
Junior hockey in Chicago. The @ChicagoSteel are hosting @GamblersHockey in their first game at USG Arena.
Yesterday the Braves moved up to the next step and will meet the Dodgers in the NLDS. All series begin tomorrow. Who do you think/want to move up to the LCS step?
Yesterday the White Sox, Yankees and Padres all moved up the playoff steps. Who will be the last team to join them in the Divisional Series?
I will be honest. This is not the result I expected. I thought they'd lose 2 games to 1. But I'm incredibly happy right now!!
I already had a lot of work ahead of me to add my new caps into my collection. With the indy ball changes being officially announced, I can now start working on it. I knew about two changes. Had no clue about Gastonia.

On this day in 1990 it was the last game at Comiskey Park. You can watch LAST COMISKEY to brush up on your White Sox history ahead of tonight's game.
I forgot to share this yesterday.
The MLB playoffs are set. So that means the return of the playoff steps. Who will climb up and win the Commissioner's Trophy?
(I don't have a Cubs cap in my collection so an Iowa Cubs cap is filling in.)
