the specific nostalgia of scrolling through old wifi networks still saved on your computer. Friends’ houses, apartments I’ve moved out of, cafes in other cities, airports I went through one time... All in one place together

Very cool use of grid cell data to make digital art
My neuro art made for @SciArtInitiativ is now live! I basically used grid cell firing patterns as a paintbrush to blend photos together from specific locations. 🧠🎨 Here’s still from the Boston work, more stills/videos at the link sciartmagazine.com/movement-…

For me, the striking thing about so many of these images of rioters in the Capitol is that what they're doing - all of them - is creating content for social media. At least in their minds, the true seat of power is not actually in that building. It's online.
This may be the lasting image of today

Valuables is a great intro to NFTs and it’s been fun watching people evolve new use cases around the tweet ownership dynamic! Someone even made an offer to buy that @Cent tweet about my article 👀 xitter.cf/jamesgmorgan/status/13…

Excellent thread with references to long-term design. A few mentions of @FuturelibraryNO which is one of my favorite of these projects
Anyone got examples of design projects with REAAAALLLY long-term thinking embedded. 100, 1000, 10,000 years?
