To add, let us remind ourselves Sarfaraz Khan was drafted into the squad for Sri Lanka as a replacement only after Sai Sudharsan could not recover in time from his injury, so if the logical 'pecking order' has to be applied, you know who is ahead.
Doesn't take away the fact that he was unfairly - without any official explanation - dropped after not getting an opportunity in Australia but for now, that's the way it is!
India A squad for New Zealand includes Jaiswal, KL Rahul, Padikkal, Pant, Jurel, Washington and Sai Sudharsan. What's the point of picking Sarfaraz in that squad and sending him to New Zealand when he's not going to make it to the XI?
Doesn't it make more sense for him to play domestic cricket in the meantime?
Easy to bag the selectors, but always helps to consider the facts and apply some logic.

As someone who became blind at 18, I once saw the white cane as a sign of shame. Then I realised it was a statement of confidence.
