An annoying feature of @ChatGPT for Clinicians is its refusal to do any arithmetic related to a medical question, not present in the free consumer version.

Here is the radiology squeeze in one graph: From 2013 to 2023, diagnostic radiologists produced 35% more work RVUs. Real pay per RVU fell 27%. Incomes didn’t collapse. We ran faster. And, increasingly, we offered less. Every specialty has a version of this. Radiology’s is worse for one simple reason: our work became portable. The market put it out to bid. We bid against each other. Some of this was done to us. Some of it we signed.

No chance radiologists get replaced. A model is outdated the minute it is released. Model usage costs money. A lot more than a radiologist. Medicine is a business. Putting together AI with domain knowledge is complex. When it can be the difference between life and death, who do you want building it and using it ? People forget that using AI and trying to get accurate answers is a skill that will need to be taught in med school AI won't replace radiologists. But every radiologist will use AI
Replying to @mcuban
Very soon in some states you will go get a blood test paid by insurance with no prescription and the AI will just auto prescribe drugs for you based on the results
