Some of us have passed the stage of defending everything. The truth is, many people who speak badly about you already know the truth in their spirit. They know. We’re no longer here to glorify status, opinions, or ourselves. We’re here to glorify Jesus. And may our lives and our works reflect His Kingdom here on earth. #TORCHERiii (FOL)

Sometimes I wonder if we’ve mistaken sponsorship for investment. A MoMo budget for a conventional concert cannot finance a Torcher Experience. Yet we compare Ghanaian productions to what Davido, Burna Boy and Wizkid are doing globally, without asking whether we’re willing to invest at the same level. Stonebwoy is one of the few patriotically and consistently pushing Ghana and Ghanaian live production toward that global standard. Many times going hard to add his own resources to achieve the quality envisioned and wished for by Ghanaians and patrons. From his VGMA performances years ago to his last several shows, ie 1.BHIMFEST 23 2.BHIMFEST 24 3.BHIMFEST 25 4.TORCHER EXPERINCE HO 5.BHIMFEST UK the progression in stage production, creative direction and overall delivery is visible. So when people say, “Stonebwoy isn’t a viable brand for investment,” perhaps we’re asking the wrong question. the issue isn’t that the artist isn’t worth investing in. the industry simply isn’t willing to invest in excellence. You cannot demand global quality entertainment while continuously funding substandard production. If Ghana genuinely wants its entertainment industry to compete globally, brands must stop treating quality as an expense and start understanding it as an investment in the industry itself.

Today has been an emotional moment for me, counting my blessings and naming them one by one. I will forever be grateful to @stonebwoy. People may not understand, but it takes a discerning mind to appreciate how short some milestones can become simply because of certain people God places in our lives. Things that could have taken years to achieve can happen overnight because of the right person. This man can wake up and surprise you with a car, an abundance of money, a house, travel opportunities, and so much more and somehow make it look like he did nothing. Those who have experienced his kindness know in their hearts that some of these milestones would have taken much longer to reach without him. God bless you, bro. ❤️ Some reach milestones, some become the milestone ( STONEBWOY)

Some people come into your life and genuinely change its trajectory. I’m grateful to you, Stonebwoy, for the constant upliftment, belief, support, and the many ways you continue to look out for me. Some gestures go beyond their material value, and what you did for me (🚘) is one of them. I’ll never take that blessing for granted. More than anything, it’s the thought, trust and love behind it that means the most to me. Thank you for believing in me, pushing me, and giving me the room to grow. I’m truly grateful. May God continue to bless you, elevate you and replenish you for everything you do for the people around you. ❤️🙏🏾 @stonebwoy

I genuinely think he may be missing the bigger picture of what the original conversation was about, and I say this as my opionion, not as an attack. The conversation was about the toxicity within the industry. But my question to him: are you not, in this moment, becoming a victim of the very toxicity we are talking about, while simultaneously contributing to it? You speak about unity, say that you love him, say that you live close to each other and that people need to come together, but then you also say that you don’t need to be friends with him. Those contradictions are exactly why the conversation needs more maturity. Bringing wives, mothers, families and other personal relationships into an industry conversation doesn’t strengthen your argument. It only moves the discussion from the actual issue into personal territory. And that is the toxicity we are trying to address. Even the conversation about what you charge from 2m to 250k, lol on one platform versus another, or what you supposedly accept elsewhere, doesn’t resolve anything. If anything, introducing figures that people know to be inconsistent only creates another distraction from the real conversation. And the Rolls-Royce discussion is another example. You and I know the circumstances surrounding it. Before God and man, you know what is true. I don’t think anyone genuinely cares about the car. The bigger question is why are we allowing possessions, money and personal matters to become ammunition in a conversation that was supposed to be about the health of our industry? This is where I think you need to pause and reflect. You have a platform. You have influence. You speak about God, the Bible and leadership. But leadership isn’t only about what you say when everything is going your way. Leadership is also demonstrated in how you conduct yourself, challenged or disagreeing with someone. You don’t have to agree with him. You don’t have to be his friend. You don’t even have to like what he said. But morality, discipline, principles and basic human decency should never become optional simply because we are upset. Sometimes, we need to allow our conscience to speak louder than our emotions. The Bible teaches us that what has been placed in our hands is also a responsibility. Our gifts, platforms, influence and opportunities are not simply things to possess; they are things we will ultimately be accountable for how we use. You don’t become the very thing you claim to be fighting against. If we genuinely want unity in this industry, then we have to learn how to disagree without attacking families, how to have difficult conversations and taking accountability. You have enough influence to add to the tone of the conversation. Use that influence to elevate it. Because sometimes leadership isn’t about being the loudest person on the live. Sometimes leadership is having the wisdom and discipline to know when your words are healing the problem and when they are becoming part of the problem.

Stonebwoy calling out Sarkodie for his hypocrisy is the boldest move ever cos Obidi has been painted as a saint, buh lowkey, he’s a bitter hater and a troll. He has enjoyed his SarkNation vitriol against other artists and, for years, has continuously shaded and undermined other acts in his songs. Meanwhile, fanbase conversations aside, Stonebwoy has been Ghana’s top-grossing artist for the past 5–10 years. He has landed top features, performed at the World Cup and other global events, toured consistently and performed in grand arenas. Sarkodie hasn’t achieved a quarter of that. The only thing Sarkodie has is his so-called fanbase, which can’t even help him reach half a million streams on YouTube. He brags about forming a solid fanbase, meanwhile the last global song he had was “Adonai” in 2014. For someone who has relied heavily on a “good image” and not necessarily good music, you can see why he would use a video of a cripple to shade Stonebwoy, buh still wants to be celebrated for his flopped Afro Fest performance, where only about 10 people were singing his songs. Shatta Wale cannot be wrong about Sarkodie. Stonebwoy cannot be wrong about Sarkodie. Samini cannot be wrong about Sarkodie. Sarkodie is the cancer of our industry, and the earlier he is told the truth to his face, the better for everybody.
