Most education focuses on becoming good at answering, but life rewards those who excel at questioning, which helps get closer to the truth.

The 3-part framework I use to instantly break out of a "Mental Rut" (so I can get clarity on work or personal blockers and reclaim my focus)
Step 1: Leave all screens behind, grab my journal, and walk to a random coffee shop.
My phone and computer usually prevent me from thinking clearly, especially when I'm in a funk. Luckily, there are no distracting apps inside my Muji Notebook. So I'll grab my bag and journal, then head outside to get some sun and get moving.
Step 2: Brain dump anything that's on my mind once I get there (over a double espresso).
After a ~30-minute walk, I usually feel better and am starting to think clearly. So then, I'll post up at a coffee shop, grab a double espresso, and brain-dump anything on my mind. This action alone gets me 90% of the way there—because most of the things that have me worked up look silly on paper.
Step 3: Tip the barista nicely, then pay for the coffee of the next 3 people behind me.
Finally, I tap into instant serotonin with a few random acts of kindness to others in the coffee shop. (Shoutout to my boy @george__mack for this one.)
And that's it!
This is a potent mix of movement, reflection, and gratitude—and it always does the trick.

In the past, brands needed to lose their soul to become a billion dollar business.
Today, brands need to have a soul to become a billion dollar business.
4 reasons I love writing:
1. Writing helps me to embed my learnings. I read a lot, and writing gives me space to turn ideas into insights for my work and life.
4. Writing a little bit at a time, consistently, builds momentum. Creatively, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. This starts the flywheel spinning.
It’s been years since I’ve written a newsletter.
Every few months, I’ve had this itch to just get back into it. So a few months ago, I committed to getting started again.
Let’s see how this goes. Come along for the journey.
My newsletter is titled the Coaching Flywheel. Once a week, I’ll share key lessons from my interactions, readings and learnings to help you move your coaching business forward. This will be high-value with actionable, practical ideas. Advice that’s usually reserved for my private clients.

100 years ago when psychology wasn't common, people used this picture for fun to find out everyone's personality
The crazy part?
This picture is still effective for telling a whole lot about your personality
Are you ready for a quick personality test?
However, this comes with a caveat. Learning a language later in life can be challenging.
While our brains are most adept at picking up languages during childhood, adults can still reap the same benefits if not more.
I believe self-improvement should be tied to becoming a culturally richer person who adds value to society.
