Research takes DECADES to get implemented in classrooms. It's often done at a grad level with little actionable implementation. Teachers don't trust that because they've got to work with kids & show results. k20 research will come from teachers, for teachers. πŸ’Ό

What most adults will never experience in their jobs: A student visiting them years later to say thanks for being there when nobody else was. A parent writing an email saying you changed their child's life & they can't thank you enough. That's why being a teacher is awesome.

I think it has a lot to do with the mindset and values in the classroom. Authentic/real-world learning, with a focus on resilience, flexibility, creativity, collaboration, communication, risk taking, and critical thinking. How are Ss encouraged to embrace and demonstrate these?
