Spent time with good friends last night - a league of extraordinary women. Reminded of how love and friendship are what matter most.

Watching @January6thCmte hearing finally--what a lesson in how not to lead. Minute by minute it's stunning to observe the hours leading up to and after the insurrection of the Capitol - and what the CEO of the USA did and did not do to lead.
A master class in being present, active listening. Radical idea, isn't it? The world benefits when we adults get quiet (instead of just waiting for our turn to speak) and actually, truly, *radically* hear each other out.
Seeing the world through the eyes of a child 🙏😳🤩 #awe #Wonder #inspiration

There are three kinds of people when it comes to change. Those who are kind of ready. Those are really ready. And those are not ready. Which one are you?

There’s no shame wherever you are in the three. You would be wise to avoid attempting to change everything in your life all at the same time. It’s the noticing of the appetite for change—where on the spectrum you are—and focusing energy where there’s most chance of success

Change is painful. It can be scary. Change often feels like one step foot forward two steps back. AND it can be rewarding. Confidence building. Momentum starting. And life changing.

Hmmm. Apparently, in a sea of humans, there’s only 1 woman “thinker” who’s reading list is of interest to anyone? I wonder what ⁦@ReclistsHQ⁩ can do to dig wider. reclists.com/curators

Must read. Reads like a movie plot. Incredible bravery and awful devastation. Hard to imagine it's 2022.
"The doctors pleaded with us to film families bringing in their own dead and wounded, and let us use their dwindling generator power for our cameras. No one knows what’s going on in our city, they said." apnews.com/article/russia-uk…
THREAD 1/8: Many of us are watching Ukraine & asking 'why is this happening? We've made a series of videos to try and help - on Ukraine's history (below), the troop build-up, NATO, Russia's denials, sanctions, Putin's world view and Putin's justification.

Interested is not the same as committed.
As someone who spent 1st few decades of working career as only female at influential tables this evolution @nilofer writes of is precisely why moving MORE quickly from just *being present* to a position of *change agent* matters to innovation, progress. #Ethnicity #gender #race

When doubt hits here for instance... Should you do the thing?! It's a sign: "future" you needs "now" you to ask yourself a question today. In 20 years will you regret NOT doing this? If the answer is yes, quit procrastinating/making excuses + act. However small, take action🙏
It takes courage to become who you're meant to be.
