Been putting together some special guest editor shows for Monday. Tutu is a powerhouse of a woman - looking after her community in Reading. So pleased she could kick off this great project.
Great show with Tutu from @EthiopianTable taking the reigns as my first guest editor. Everything from having a better old age, why we shouldn't be scared of the kids in the park and her love of Strictly! @bbcberkshire - Listen here: bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0kbhn…

4-10am yesterday morning were some of the quickest 6 hours of my life. Happy to be producing @RealKirstOBrien to share @BBCBerkshire 's election results with an incredible early morning team.

What did you do at work this week..?
Using gravy for fake tan? After @ClaudiaWinkle revealed that she had used gravy as an alternative while filming @TheTraitorsUK, @RealKirstOBrien thought she would test this trick out. It's safe to say she wasn't a fan. ❌ Listen here 👇 bbc.in/3PetolN

This has been a bit of fun all week, and we ended up with 22 lengths of the River Thames! 😲
A huge thankyou to everyone for your miles - WE DID IT! 🥰 ▶️ @BridgitteTT's aim: Ten-Times the length of the Thames for @BBCCiN ... The result: ELEVEN AND THREE QUARTERS times the length of the Thames! 💪 (Total: 2335.15!) 🔊 Listen on @BBCSounds ⤵️

Work and life got in the way a bit, but we're now actually back with another episode of The Run In - and I've managed to edit it before WOC starts...
We're back (finally!) with another podcast! Featuring Alice Leake, who's just announced her retirement, new host @NathanLawson97 joins Katherine to preview the @orienteeringWOC in Switzerland.

I love athletics. Not even halfway through the meet and already spectacular.

9 athletes selected for this year's World Champs. Congrats to those who did the tricky job of making the list. 🎉

I was glued to the live results for those selection races in Switzerland, and there's still time for all the athletes to fine-tune their racing and navigation.

Really looking forward to heading out to the terrain in Switzerland. The middle distance in particular looks like a challenge I want to experience, without the pressure of running a WOC. 😅

A fun part of the job! 😊😊
The best way to surprise @sarahwradio? Involve her fave @ReadingFC player Tom Ince 🤩

You know sometimes you regret never telling someone you appreciate them. Well by chance I bumped into my old PE teacher out shopping today. She was the only decent PE teacher at the school and really cared about getting girls into PE... 1/

I'm so glad I could tell her that I could feel she was trying to fight the system. She didn't feel like she was a good teacher, but she was one of the best I'd had in any subject. I'm so glad she's still teaching PE, only now not in a mainstream school. 3/

She's spreading her love of sport and the outdoors with SEN kids and is continuing to make an impact where it really matters. I'm grateful for chance encounters and the opportunity to say thanks. There's many more people I could thank, but at least I got to say it to one today.
