As William Waldegrave wrote about his anti-EU colleagues before Brexit happened:
"[They] will be bereft if we ever leave that convenient recipient of blame; for them, all-powerful external enemies fill a vital psychological need."
Thanks to the amazing team @uclh for delivering my son during the #JuniorDoctorsStrike - fantastic care for this jr doctor and new baby
Really enjoying dinner conversation tonight revolving around whether a lettuce will last longer than Truss. What about a banana? Potato?
What a great day for women’s sport. From Tour de France Femmes to England bringing it home! Women’s football wasn’t on TV when I was growing up, loving this. #Lionesses

I was just told I need a third primary dose of the COVID vaccine. This guidance was published in September! The booking website won’t let me make an appointment as I’ve ‘had all doses I need’. I’m a doctor doing a PhD in immunology and can’t work this out - it needs to be easier.
Today I decided a tube journey with my baby was the equivalent of a baby sensory class and I think it’s a sign I need to go back to work asap
What an amazing women’s cycling race at the Olympics. Love that it was won by a Cambridge maths grad. Bring on women’s Tour de France 2021! #Olympics #CyclingRoad #geekpower
Also love that @AnnaKiesenhofer tweets an analysis of body temperature and cycling output
Could @HawleyMO stop posturing and focus on Missouri's shocking vaccine roll-out? My 92yo grandmother in St Charles still waiting, with MO last in the US for vaccination rates
Worried about imminent need for parenting skills given that @JamieWaldegrave and I managed to lose baby Waldorf’s sonogram photo within ten minutes of being given it. Last seen somewhere on Tottenham Court Road.
