Yesterday while testing Karwan I easily requested 300$ on @karwanBuild from my friend @Iziedking with a request link and he sent it.
You can easily send money to anyone anywhere in the world who has Karwantag money in usdc with just a request link 🤭
This isn’t the main feature on Karwan but I mean sending money across to your loved ones or people online should be easy!
Whats stopping you from starting on Karwan?

African SMEs don’t just struggle with payments or access to finance
but a deeper problem is trust
Businesses often struggle to find reliable counterparties, prove their reputation, protect transactions and carry their business history across different markets
A company can have years of successful local trade but still start from zero when dealing with a new international buyer
The article explores how Karwan addresses this gap by creating a trust and transaction layer for SME commerce: helping businesses find, verify, agree, protect, finance and settle deals. Through escrow, portable reputation, agent assisted trade, and settlement on @arc
Karwan aims to make it easier for businesses to trade with people they don’t know.

if you are building on arc and planning to ship to mainnet; and your product will need fiat usdc on/off-ramp support, arc is collecting developer feedback on regions, currencies, payment methods, kyc, api access, settlement speed, and provider requirements.
at karwan, we are building local and cross-border trade settlement on arc, so reliable on/off-ramps are a core part of the user flow.
if this matters for your product too, fill out the survey or reply here: community.arc.io/home/resour…

karwan is built for things like this.
lol I know that feeling. four years ago, i lost $12,000 to a merchant in kenya.
so believe me when I say karwan was built from hard experience.
most online deals happen from a social platform, in dms. you agree on something, send money, and hope the other person keeps to their word. when things go bad, screenshots are all you have to show how you were scammed.
this is what we’re building @karwanBuild for.
bring a deal. agree on the terms. break the work into milestones. settle with usdc. find work, find clients, and deal with people across borders with more context about who is on the other side.
agents will help with matching and reputation lookups. the work you complete should not disappear after payment. it should also help people trust you in the next deal.
we’re building on @arc and working towards local on and off-ramps for easy onboarding. we will be live fully on arc mainnet soon
the goal is simple: make internet trade safer for the people already doing business there.
someone just got scammed trying to send jackbutcher $8 through a US claimed citizen
becareful who you deal with
some people are using it as method to scam others
limit exhausted but they still go ahead to accept money from people and send them ai generated receipts
a real receipt:
- txn id is short, never has "..."
- the memo address is written with quotation marks
- use hivedetect.ai to cross receipts sent to you to confirm it's validity
i added the account of the culprit below
stay safe and be careful.

Big companies won't touch a blockchain until they know exactly who is running it.
Regulated enterprises are asking "Are they anonymous entities? Are these nodes running in North Korea? And is there a way for you to validate that those nodes are not run by entities that you cannot trust? Are they gonna collude? Are they going to attack the network?"
"How are you gonna answer these questions unless you know who these entities are and what kind of guarantees you're gonna offer?" — @gaganmac of @arc / @circle
ARC is designed to be transparent
"This entire network whose validators are public, whose node operators are public, the token allocation and distribution based on who has the stake in the network is public."
"As an enterprise, you have a lot of trust in such a network."
