ABC is treating that like an American crisis.

They were not supposed to cross. The border held. Now they’re waiting in Mexico instead of showing up in your city.

House Republicans, led by Speaker Mike Johnson, are pushing major legislation to completely ban all noncitizens from receiving taxpayer-funded welfare benefits!
Under these proposed bills, noncitizens would be barred from receiving SNAP (food stamps), Medicaid, Section 8 housing, and other public assistance programs. American taxpayer dollars should be going to support struggling American citizens and hardworking families—not noncitizens.
