Well I got the crud... Just comes with the territory when working with kids.
They literally share everything, every pet they ever had, their moms age as well as her weight, and of course whatever germs they're passing around at school like Pokemon cards.
Just hope it's quiet tonight, we're all pretty much on edge. Definitely a get off my lawn vibe going on

Had a communication breakdown on Monday so bad it made me question what day it was and what learn to skate class I had just taught
Well I'm a playing drop-in hockey for the first time since knee surgery tomorrow night! I've been skating and been doing a lot of dryland. I skated in the pads just not really playing.
Even if I'm a freaking sieve out there I don't care too much, just glad to be back on the ice.

Literally telling one of my former 10u kids who's been super sick to ease into some dryland to get ready for the season.
This coming from me, in talks with a new program about coaching and doing the exact opposite of what I preach 😂
Healing is a little different for everyone, this might not make sense to many but healing is happening here.
Coaching and hockey literally saved my life! I'm slowly healing from the trauma one step at a time and taking my life back.
Climbed a ladder without my knee bracing yesterday then spent a few hours working on the house 😎
Only took the essentials up with me.
More to do but gotta wait a few days, knee is a little grumpy

You know what I love about driving stick? When I have some prick tailgating me honking their horn and yelling at me while already going 5 over, I start popping the clutch a bit and rolling back on starts, then pop the clutch a little more.
That behavior stops instantly🤣
So 1am last night I got over 70 text messages that were stuck pending dating back to the 21st. Freaking crazy, it was like 45min before it all stopped.
Cot a call from one of my skaters parents who needed people to staff an event. Think we saw 20k+ people come through the doors over 2 days and I had a blast.
Unfortunately I brought something home🤧
Hope I can shake this off in time for the hydro qualifiers
I've been watching tons of 60s &70s hockey games on YouTube, today this 1952 baseball game was recommended.
It's pretty cool to see all the greats in action, i only know these names and seen their faces on old baseball cards.

Well I had to do some serious sole searching on this on this one but I've come to the conclusion really don't have much of a choice anymore
