The Aesthetics of Machine Learning In @Zuka_Kipiani's new body of work, we see his passion for machine learning, and AI collide to produce unique works that stand in the middle of pure information and aesthetic visual pleasure. In these experimental artworks, we seem to be asked simultaneously to see the beauty of information gathering that computer vision produces as cultural questions and as works of art. From a psychological perspective, AI and machine learning systems can leverage aesthetics to satisfy basic human needs for beauty and pleasure, enhancing emotional and cognitive engagement with technology. But what does it mean to "expose" the tools used in these processes? What are we looking at in these videos? By personalizing aesthetic experiences and aligning them with individual preferences, AI systems can foster a deeper emotional connection with users, making technology an extension of the self and a reflection of personal identity. In @Zuka_Kipiani's works, he seems to warn us of the mechanisms behind computer learning. AI's ability to generate unique, appealing designs can set products apart, making aesthetics a critical factor in user choice and satisfaction. Furthermore, the pervasive nature of aesthetics in technology, amplified by AI's capacity for creative expression, underscores the importance of integrating aesthetic considerations in the development of interactive systems, ensuring that they not only function effectively but also enrich our lives and environments with beauty and inspiration. But again, when seeing Zuka's work, we are urged to ask the question of who is behind these information scraping machines and how their learnings will help us or turn against us in the future.
