Saving soil is the solution for our planet. While we face numerous environmental challenges, from water scarcity to climate change, the solution begins beneath our feet. Healthy soil doesn't just grow food - it's Earth's largest water filter, its biggest carbon sink, and home to most of its living species. Did you know? 40% of climate change happens due to soil degradation. By implementing policies to maintain 3-6% soil organic matter (based on regional conditions), we can address multiple ecological crises simultaneously. When we save soil, we save everything it supports - from groundwater to biodiversity, from climate stability to food security. Action Now: savesoil.org #SaveSoil

The weight of our world rests on a fragile foundation. Soil bears an immense burden—supporting all life, filtering our water, storing carbon, nurturing biodiversity, and feeding billions. Yet we've pushed it to its limits. 52% of the world's soil is already degraded, struggling under the massive weight of human demands and unsustainable agricultural practices. Every handful of soil represents centuries of intricate ecological processes. It's time we lighten the load by reimagining our relationship with the ground beneath our feet. #SaveSoil

The Save Soil movement will have a physical presence at both UNCCD COP16 in Riyadh and UNFCCC COP29 in Baku. For media or policy collaborations, please reach out to [email protected] @COP29_AZ @Cop16Riyadh #SaveSoil

Too much carbon in the atmosphere ⬆️ not enough carbon in the soil ⬇️ Solution? 🔍 Use soil to sequester carbon from the atmosphere! 💡 Benefits: ✅ richer soil ✅ mitigation of climate change. No time to delay - act now to #SaveSoil! 🌏🌱 #SaveSoil #SaveSoilFixClimateChange #SoilforClimateAction

At ‘Soil, the Climate Superstar!’, a discussion at @UNCCD’s pavilion at #COP28 with Sadhguru, Ibrahim Thiaw and Baroness Rt. Hon. Patricia Scotland, the Baroness praised Sadhguru and the #SaveSoil movement for championing the cause of the farmers who have been tending to the land for centuries. #SaveSoilFixClimateChange #SoilForClimateAction @PScotlandCSG @ibrahimthiaw @SadhguruJV
