They’re barring a Jewish party leader from entering Israel because he criticized a secular political ideology which is supposed to be built on the idea that all Jews anywhere in the world have a right to return to Israel.
Beyond. Parody.

Nicole Lampert, in her Cable Street march article writes: 'I stayed to listen to Michael Rosen and Jeremy Corbyn drone on.' Indeed. I was 'droning on' reading my father's eyewitness account of being at the demo with my mother. Who wants to hear that, eh? @nicolelampert

Presumably, this is one of anonymous 'Shayne Maydel's many attempts to get me cancelled. (He has tweeted hostile tweets at organisations who book me.) Glad to say, I've now featured him in this:

Ed Miliband describes the suffering in Gaza as a “stain on the world’s conscience”. He’s right.
Now, he must urge Burnham to de-proscribe Palestine Action who’ve taken direct action - NOT terrorism - against the Genocide.

Ed Miliband is right to say that people who have demonstrated in support of Palestine and against genocide were right all along.
Match your words, Ed, and de-proscribe Palestine Action, now.

Irony: the Spectator is edited by he who brought in the curriculum that has helped to put children off reading for pleasure.
The real reason children no longer enjoy reading.” Mary Wakefield has a theory in the latest Spectator. Instead of screen addiction, she blames school curricula which teach “to the test” rather than reading for enjoyment. Children are so busy analysing brief extracts, they can’t enjoy the book as a whole.
I read incessantly as a child, including illicitly when I was supposed to be sleeping. Not “great literature”, it was Dr Dolittle, Biggles, Bulldog Drummond, Just William, Arthur Ransome, Percy F Westerman. It would certainly have included Harry Potter if he’d been around then. I don’t believe I ever had my “comprehension” tested. I just loved reading.
Is Mary Wakefield right?

I won’t lose any sleep over being condemned by Israel.
What I deplore is its despicable treatment of the Palestinian people — and I will never stop speaking out against the occupation.

My statement on Israel's decision to ban me and 10 other British MPs from entry.
"I have visited all parts of Palestine on several occasions, where I have witnessed the horrors of occupation, as well as the resilience and humanity of the Palestinian people.
They are the ones who suffer from Israel's apartheid. It is their freedom which is egregiously curtailed, alongside thousands of Palestinian refugees who are denied the right of return.
As the world wakes up to the genocide in Gaza, it is shocking that Israel continues to deny entry to UN investigators and international journalists. Israel doesn't want the world to see what it is doing - but we can never give up in our attempts to expose the truth.
That is the real scandal. Israel’s genocide cannot go unpunished - and I will keep speaking up for peace, freedom and justice for the Palestinian people."

They failed -
“The HFPA, in its new lawsuit, admitted everything I alleged,” Asi said yesterday in court regarding the Penske suit. “Every discovery they filed [in my case], every response was based on perjury.”
