I built a clustering demo with Mob connecting to Nerves. The app is called Operator and it is trying to emulate the feel of pi/oh-my-pi if those were in an app so it lets you modify the UI of the app while you build it.

Introducing: Ash.Signals 😎
Signals are a way to model complex side effects in large #AshFramework applications. They provide a typed contract and compile time guarantees, and can dramatically help when building applications with complex and interconnected domains.

QUICKMART IS NEW NAKUMATT
I tweeted before that QUICKMART has all the signature of NAKUMATT written all over it: open as many stores as is possible on properties they don’t own, all stocks in the stores belong to suppliers, you sell your goods for cash but delay payments to suppliers by over 90 days, use money of investors & equity subscribers & not founders to grow, leverage in public relations, look for respected institutional investors.
History repeats itself, first as a tragedy, second as a farce!
I'm writing a book: Native Mobile Apps With Elixir.

For the interested, here are the docs and a POC for the new feature, `Ash.Signals`.

Cooking up a cool feature for #AshFramework designed to help with large applications with lots of interconnected domains. Right now you end up with actions that chain actions and side effects through hooks, creating dependencies just because the initiator needs to be where the code lives. Example code in the image.
I've got a pretty great way to invert this, removing cross-resource dependencies and making it much easier to understand "what does what" in your Ash application. And its declarative and in a way that is easy to verify at compile time 😎 Should be ready soon.
