I have noticed that the new update of @SampathBankPLC Vishwa Android app prevents password managers such as Bitwarden from automatically filling login credentials. I believe this is a step backwards in security and goes against modern cybersecurity best practices.
Preventing password managers from working does not improve banking security. It can actually weaken it by encouraging less secure user behavior.
I strongly encourage Sampath Bank to reconsider this restriction and support Android's standard secure autofill functionality,
lets pay more tax to pay another 121,000 government employees. nice!
