There's a story behind every record that you buy, and I thought about telling stories about some of the records I have. I thought it was silly... but maybe not. I might try it? For the 5th anniversary of this tweet, I'm reviving this. So let's start over...

How did we revive a dying franchise only to lose its voice?

Something was revealed today regarding an artist that I liked, the sad & very disappointing part about this that I was there when they got signed & I was there when they got released. It’s very upsetting to learn, I’ve seen artists rise & fall but this one took the hardest fall.

One gift I’m thankful to give others is the ability to be themselves, while also letting me see them grow (and glow) as individuals. Being trusted to help others evolve is pretty dope but an honor too; if you’re going to be infectious, you better be impressionable.

It’s frustrating being the fall guy when you’re the only one trying to keep a shop afloat; I refuse to drown or abandon ship like everybody else has because it’s so easy to sink, but I refuse because of who I am. I don’t give up that easily like everyone else, I simply just can’t

You know what… I enjoyed this movie in a weird way. I was more fond of the first part of the as opposed to the rest, I think I’m saying this because I appreciated the bond they had until it was tested.

I recently had a dream where someone I had a falling out with woke me up in my sleep finding out my new life while later that day in reality I was told I had to train someone that I also had a falling out with to do something properly at my job. That was a weird day.

Me and a coworker were talking about a particular place which he didn’t know that I liked, he showed up an hour later with this bag because the conversation made him crave it. That made my day, shout out to them for doing that.

I recently thought about some of the friendships that fell apart, and how could I have saved them if it was possible. One case in particular was damaging because they had a very hot/cold energy, I tried to tolerate it as much as I could until I had to throw in the towel, tiring.

This doesn’t fully complete my collection from this band, it does fill a big void 17 years after its release. I underestimated how rare this was back then, that’s why I jumped on it when they announced the repress. It’s been a while since I had nighttime music, great addition.

A good friend and someone I had a falling out with had a conversation, when the friend mentioned that they were tight with me she told the other person: “He’s loyal, just don’t cross him” and the other person made a face knowing that the bridge they burned is irreplaceable.

When a coworker was recently terminated from my job, I was disappointed and relieved at the same time. Although they were down to earth at times, they were unreliable like dead weight. I don’t wish them the best of luck (hear me out first), but I wish they would grow up.

When someone reached out to meet up, I knew right away they wouldn't pull through at the end because they're extremely forgetful. On the same day we were supposed to meet up, where were they? Posting videos from a football game =

Someone recently said something about the 2nd air sign saying: “They’re attached to partner signs”… thinking about every person I know of that sign, resonates more than I thought it would.

Ever looked back at someone from your past & realized how much better you are without them? This is not a jab at them, but it’s more of an epiphany that they couldn’t help you prosper into becoming the better person you want to become… instead of the person you don’t want to be.

I recently saw a post from the last person who broke my heart & seeing that the person who took my place also likes that post, I’m way past holding on to any emotional investment with either one of them. I’m somewhat relieved to see that they’re still talking cause they do match.
