Thankful for a district that celebrates its staff and for such fun people to celebrate everyday with! #Teambps #ChampionsforChildren
What a joy it is to get to share the LOVE of reading, the gift of a lifetime. @CougarsCE & @BerthaBobcats are participating in ‘One School, One Book’, getting books to our students & families with activities. This year our book is ‘The Wild Robot’! 📚
Last day of summer school with the @LeMayOwls! It was such a joy getting to serve this community. I am very grateful for the 3 weeks with students and staff. Today we had ‘Sports Day’- so much fun. Now we welcome summer! @BellevueSchools

Thanks @BellevueSchools and @BellevueNEChmbr for inviting us to American Heroes Park this morning! #ChampionsforChildren
Today we observed Flag Day @LeMayOwls! Students created flag decorations, we said the Pledge of Allegiance at the Flag Pole, sang ‘You’re a Grand Old Flag’, had a parade around the building and enjoyed popsicles. 🇺🇸 @BellevueSchools

Love for kids gets you in the door, but finding your people keeps you in the work. Education thrives on connection, support, and shared purpose. Leaders…build your team, and treat them well.

Today I had the honor of attending the graduation ceremony for students in the ACE program in @BellevueSchools. This was so special because a few students were my former 1st graders, & my husband has been their Social Studies teacher. What a full circle moment! Proud!

What's one way you can lighten teachers' loads this winter?
(Insights via leader @DrBradJohnson)
ALT "It's so important to be mindful of stress levels this time of year. Report cards, conferences and holidays are happening all on top of teaching. Try to limit meetings, keep planning open, give breaks from duty and ask how else you can help your teachers. At this time of year servant leadership is critical!" —Leader Brad Johnson
I am so grateful for this opportunity to help make a dream a reality @BerthaBobcats with a Little Free Library at school! Thank you to the @BPSFNE for this grant to impact literacy and get more books into the hands of our students and in their homes. @BellevueSchools
Teaching is pretty sweet when you have colleagues like these @BerthaBobcats & @CougarsCE! We engaged in a ‘Nailed It’ challenge that connected to our professional learning & book study, and collaborated with teachers leading the way! @BellevueSchools #KidsDeserveIt
I get to work with the greatest team! LOVE our new staff shirts, with a focus on connection! Two schools, one mission!
