The wine industry was very early to DTC but we have not evolved. How many wine brands:
* Attempt to capture email online
* Use email flows/segmentation
* FB/targeted social ads
* Landing pages
* SEO
* Strategic Social media
I've been trying learn this stuff but it's not easy.

Oh I would love to!
But first, what does "made in the USA" even mean?
Lets learn how lawyers and lobbyists helped ruin American

Strange blend, delicious wine. This is 2017. Grenache from the Rocks District is amazing. Didn’t think I’d like it with Cab, but I did!
I know this isn’t rationale, and doesn’t even make sense…
But I still believe that shorts should cost 50% less than pants.

Rap for 40 year olds from Billy Woods-
‘Dinner party with the neighbors, their apartment's renovated
Skate wing, brown butter and capers, sprigs of thyme
Heavy pours of natural wine’
Middle Ages rap is alive! @KillerMike won The Grammy and Maps from Billy Woods is amazing.
Pretty amazing for under $20. The Merlot came through even though it’s 60% Sangiovese but as far as value goes. Total winner
Grenache feels like it’s having a moment.
Good press but mostly anecdotal, and the WA wine industry folks (myself included) are all crazy for it.
Is there data that supports the people are actually buying more? Any wine data Econ people?

Maybe wine isn’t the problem… maybe it’s… us?
Just having fun. Amazing work and love to see people approaching the market with a different lens @ZachPelka @unefemmewines
Wow, 2023 was one for the books. One of my favorite year end activities is writing up our @unefemmewines annual review. Lots of big wins including….
After deep thinking on this topic from an entrepreneurial perspective and as wine lover…. I think @jamiegoode is right.
The challenge is when you go DTC without the overhead of a tasting room I.e traditional winery path, you need a healthy margin to acquire customers.
Nebbiolo/Aglianico blend from Grossgrain in Walla Walla. So good. Fresh, good structure, nice fruit. Middle $30s. Such a winner. Grown on their estate just outside of town. Cool things happening in WA.
