Outreach to Hindus in NJ is understandable but BAPS? This is the organization that went to Eiffel Tower & demanded women employees not be working. And did human trafficking in NJ to build a temple. Your staff really messed up on the vetting here.

His single point agenda was to drown out the speakers with his yelling & drum. My single point agenda was to either keep him engaged in arguments or yell louder than him. He barely played his drums lol.

I can’t tell you if you do this out of social obligation or brand building, but in case no one has said it to you yet: you don’t have to do this. It is, in fact, okay to not praise a white nationalist who cruelly smeared your father after he died. You can choose to not do this.

They mention "community" in their press releases, but why won't @nyulangone actually meet with us? There's probably a win-win to be had here, but the only way to get there is dialogue and transparency, not a secret sprint to build offices that go dark after 5.
Talk to us, NYU!
NYU Langone refuses to back off taking over Kips Bay AMC, setting stage for showdown with pols nypost.com/2026/10/11/us-new…

In late August, it was announced that the Kips Bay AMC 15 would close at the end of this year after 27 years of operation on Second Avenue. With box-office sales down long-term, ticket prices up, and movie theaters closing in rapid succession since COVID, the site will be taken over by one of the actually growing industries in America: health care. NYU Langone Health, which has expanded in the tristate area by 376 percent since 2007, is expanding a bit more, occupying the theater for what it has described as clinical space for patient care.
When residents learned of the AMC’s closure, they were outraged by the encroachment of yet another medical office — and called on their elected officials to save the theater. “They’re going to keep creeping into Kips Bay, and it’s going to be just a boring place to live,” says Jack Greenberg, a programmer who lives a few blocks from the theater.
There are people who say replacing a movie theater with a health-care facility is a good thing, and some have mocked the local politicians who are seizing on the issue. But community members say it shouldn’t have to be a conflict of movies against medicine.
“It’s about whether Kips Bay, the community, can remain a neighborhood or just slowly become a medical campus,” says Kevin O’Keefe, president of the local St. Vartan Park Conservancy, who also serves on the Bellevue Hospital community-advisory board. “But it’s broader than that. Mental health comes into this.” He points to the crisis of loneliness that has taken hold at least since the pandemic. “Having a movie theater helps to alleviate that,” he says. “Nobody’s arguing against health care. We’re just saying a healthy neighborhood needs more than health care.”

watching zionists melt down over this statement which plainly lists statistics about the scale of israel's genocide in gaza is confusing. if you don't want people to state how many kids you're killing, then stop killing kids
This day is profoundly painful for so many New Yorkers. It marks three years since the horrific war crimes of October 7. On that day, Hamas killed more than 1,100 Israelis and abducted 251 others. We grieve alongside our many friends and neighbors who still carry that unthinkable loss.
The suffering did not begin nor end that day. It instead continued through the Israeli government’s devastating, ongoing genocide in Gaza, in which it has killed more than 74,000 Palestinians—including more than 21,000 children. Even since the so-called ceasefire, more than 1,400 Palestinians have been killed. That suffering has intensified with every Israeli bomb dropped on ambulances waiting outside hospitals, every drone strike targeting a residential building or journalist, and every shipment of food aid turned away at a border crossing. Many New Yorkers are reckoning with this unbearable grief, and we mourn alongside them – all while knowing that our tax dollars fund these war crimes.
Three years later, we must refuse to accept a world in which occupation and apartheid continue, where war crimes are met with impunity, and our federal government continues its complicity with every arms shipment.
To honor the dead, we must fight for a world in which every person can live with freedom, safety, and dignity.

If a decent looking 5ft9 guy making 3L/mo is being getting rejected left-right-center on the Indian arranged marriage market, imagine how unpleasant a personality or vibe he must have! Income, looks, height are main currency in that market. He's still striking out.
