💢 “Where exactly is this ceasefire?”: Israeli strike wounds UNRWA employee, damages tents in Khan Younis
An Israeli drone strike near an UNRWA water desalination station west of Khan Younis wounded two Palestinians on Monday, including UNRWA employee Zayed Al-Razayna, and caused extensive damage to nearby displacement tents.
“All of a sudden, the quadcopter struck. I didn’t know where it had hit. I was covered in shrapnel,” Al-Razayna told Drop Site’s Mohamed Ahmed.
Mohammed Al-Akhras was sheltering with seven family members, including four children, in a tent about two meters from the strike.
“We are calling on the world: Where is the ceasefire that Trump and everyone else talked about? Where did all of that go?” Al-Akhras said.
“Today, by chance, it happened here where I am. Yesterday it was on Street 5 and Roni Street. Every day there is bombing. People around us are dying from these strikes. It’s not just one person — ten, seven, eight people are dying every day.”
Elsewhere on Monday, Israeli attacks killed one Palestinian and wounded at least eight others in Al-Mawasi, including children and women, while Israeli fire wounded two women in separate attacks in Gaza City.

According to public-record claims, Lance Twiggs’ parents reportedly spent more than 20 years dealing with multiple liens and refinancing tied to their home—suggesting significant financial issues.
Then, just 54 days after Charlie Kirk's murder, their finances changed dramatically: the home they owed roughly $700K on was paid off and sold for profit, two additional homes were purchased in Houston, and by March 2026, they had opened 5 separate new businesses.
That timeline raises questions. Where did the money come from and what changed in those 54 days?

Last week I said it looked like we could be stealing about $11 billion from Venezuela. The question I had after learning that was, if it isn't going back to Venezuela, where is it going? So I followed the money.
Treasury's own data shows about $11 billion more than normal flowing into the State Department's account since February. Venezuela's records show $300 million coming back.
Venezuela has to ask Washington's permission to spend its own oil money. A State Department official told Congress, "It's their money, but ... they have to get our permission." An emergency order blocks every American court from touching it, so the creditors Venezuela owes, most of them American, get nothing.
So who does get paid? The Pentagon took a 35 percent stake in an oil company owned by Alejandro Betancourt, who got rich on Maduro-era contracts. The Miami money laundering investigation into him was closed while that deal came together, though the Justice Department denies ordering it closed. A Venezuelan-born banker facing 20 years got a pardon after $3.5 million went to the president's super PAC in his daughter's name. And in 2012, Betancourt was in Jeffrey Epstein's inbox, copied on a Venezuelan oil pitch.
Last week I asked if we were stealing from Venezuela. After following the money further, I think the better question is who "we" is, because it isn't you and me. It's a small circle of people close to this White House who are getting paid out of another country's oil money, while the Treasury Secretary tells Congress he can't give out a number I found in 15 minutes.

Today I paid property taxes to Wake County on the computers and the fixtures inside of my store that are required to operate my business - Play-It-Again Sports Holly Springs.
We paid sales tax on these items when we bought them, then we have to pay property tax on them every year because we own them.
Small business owners like me think that’s ridiculous.
Time to reform property tax in NC. Property taxes are out of control. I’m leading the charge.
My opponent Winn Decker, who has never paid property taxes in his life, and has no clue about owning a small business, called for keeping property taxes high in his dissertation. He doesn’t get it.
